13 years ago today, a gunman murdered 20 children and six educators at Sandy Hook Elementary School.
Years later, there is still much work left that must be done to protect our children and our communities from gun violence.
We must continue to advocate for commonsense policies to put an end to the scourge of senseless mass shootings.

Homicide defectives are investigating the death of two individuals who match their age found deceased in the home they live in. As of now, no official statement has been made. Trump doesn’t own the White House, an idea that is a constitutional blasphemy. Bypassing the public and historical review process and denying the people and our representatives the chance to vote on his Marie Antoinette ballroom, he brought in bulldozers to destroy the East Wing. Yet “plundering, robbing, pillaging, or laying waste” to federal property is a criminal offense.
