@awilkinson I never really had that feeling with Replit. Windsurf on the other hand, I felt like I did when I deployed my first website with Dreamweaver.

Replit makes me feel like I'm a teenager hacking around with websites for the first time. So. Freaking. Fun. Makes coding completely accessible for a total newbie.

@tobi My 9yr old was able to create an interactive web animation for his science fair using ChatGPT+Replit. Took him 15mins for the initial app, then the next few hours was tweaking his prompts then getting a grasp of the code to tweak it directly. Fun to watch.

@fahdananta Ex-RIM is all over the place at the companies you mentioned in senior exec and engineering roles. While at RIM it was non-stop headhunters from the valley and offers from app partners who some went on to be behemoths.

@fahdananta Nope, not true. In Canada, there was no where better to go. As a co-op it came down to if you want to walk down the street or want to go on an adventure in the valley.

Even when RIM/Blackberry was at it's peak, it wasn't really a high status symbol to get an internship there for Waterloo students But it was high status to get an internship at Google or Apple Why?

You may have bought something online recently and checked out with "Link"—that zelda-colored thing where you can pay with your card or bank in one click, across many @stripe businesses. If you have thoughts/wishes on it as a consumer (or a business), we'd love to hear about it.

As executive producer, I've always built the docket around tech first, then markets, science, and media, and finally, whatever the biggest story of the week was outside of that (e.g., COVID, stonks, Ukraine, etc.). With the show's popularity (and podcasting generally), all the presidential candidates have wanted to come on. Most listeners really love those episodes (Vivek, RFK, Christie, Dean Phillips), and two of the four besties are really into politics. Personally, I like the tech, media, and market segments most. @umfelixso Super useful as we plan our next gen architecture for @sociavore. Evaluating Cloudflare for SaaS leveraging their DDoS + SSL + Pages + Functions. My biggest concern with your stack would be the costs of DDoS (scaling up $$$). We've had some relentless attacks.

@aliasaria I find happiness by being grateful for what I have. My drive doesn't come from personal desire, but from a hunger to help others - my kids kids, customers, etc live better lives. This lets me appreciate 'now' while striving to create positive impacts for those around me.

A key to being an entrepreneur is to never be satisfied with what you have. Be hungry. But a key to being *happy* is to be content what you already have. Be accepting. How do you balance the two?
