Our Prime Minister is promoting Canadian launchpads for satellites to strengthen our sovereignty while the LOO is promoting his visit on an American podcast and his gift of a workout kettlebell with a maple leaf to a podcaster who has repeatedly denigrated our people. It is quite a contrast in priorities and style.

Deploying maintenance heavy F35s every time there’s an Aeroplan Fraud would be ruinously expensive & exhausting for ground crews. Gripens can fly this missions just as well for less than half the cost to taxpayers. Note how the Americans sent F-16s. Mixed fleets make sense.

"Quebec provincial police say one man could face fraud charges after a security incident resulted in two commercial flights being escorted by fighter jets into the Montreal airport on Wednesday.
