@josesaezmerino Because you actually have more space horizontally than vertically on modern widescreen devices. And the additonal "space" is mostly unused by the web apps anyway. Mostly white space in many cases.

When I was consulting for @HBO Silicon Valley, zero-loss compression was the holy grail Richard Hendricks chases that perfect middle-out algo could shrink everything w/out breaking a single bit. Google just did something even more practical for the AI era: TurboQuant compresses LLM key-value caches down to 3 bits per value using random orthogonal rotation + PolarQuant scalar quantization & optional 1-bit QJL residual correction. =>> 6× memory reduction, up to 8× faster attention (on H100), & 0 degradation on LongBench, Needle-in-a-Haystack, and RULER for models like Gemma. No retraining, no calibration needed. Fiction just got out-engineered by reality. 😅💚💚

Now that you posted this: in our FSD Test drive yesterday, arriving on our first trip location our model 3 parked on the curbside, a car came from the left and needed to get past. It was too narrow. The car reversed a bit so that the other one could pass through. That was just marvelous.

This is pretty incredible. This Cybertruck on @Tesla FSD (Supervised) v14.2.2.5 reversed by itself at an intersection to create space after a semi truck took a very wide turn. Sentience.

Absolut regret going tp-link Pro stuff for my home, when I see my friends (who built at the same time) Ubiquity stuff and how easy and well made everything is. Create VLan? Easy. Setup external access? Visual and easy process. Tp-link: here’s a list of tiny buttons with labels only please book a network admin course first.

We had one navigation error. The lot was perfect. But the driver was very honest and told us that it used to have problems. And recent patches made it better and better. Other than the one wrong exit it was 100% perfect. Just marvelous. And so much fun in the car. The safety driver was so nice.

@tillmatthis I also had a test drive in Cologne. It got confused trying to drive off the lot and actually parked again. Plus some minor navigation issues, otherwise perfect ride.

Right now sitting in a Model 3 in Cologne doing the Tesla FSD Demo Drive. It’s real. It is absolutely real. Most of the time it’s driving better than I would.

@markusdd5 Bilde ich mir das ein oder sind es erstaunlich viele deutsche Fahrzeuge mit diesem Problem? Also Pouch Cells schon wieder? Außer BMW, weil die mit i3 damals in ihre eigene Technologie investiert haben. Die Autos scheine ja nicht ab zu brennen. 🔥

Ich muss jedes mal, wenn ich solche Kontakt-Schuld und Public-Shaming-Nummerns sehe, daran denken, wie als jugendlicher las, das "Wissenschaftler" vor Einsteins Vorlesungen standen und Zettel verteilen, versuchten Besucher ab zu halten rein zu gehen - Er sei ja Jude und was er sage falsch und quasi Blasphemie - ach und Jude ist er ... Das hier so ziemlich der gleiche Vibe.
