@percytonfarmer CTEK is what the CFS use on constant supply. There are many model's which vary in type of use. We have an MXS 10, I'd buy another one. Not as cheap as some but still good value in my opinion. Their will help as to what one would suit best.

Battery chargers, there are many choices and price points. I’m interested in your experiences. I don’t want to pay more than I need or burn down my tractor shed!

@RobinMSchaefer This may be a starting point for your single hole/fine setting. HL1500 model. Above the line is for 30m spread, below is 36m.

Looking for some help on how to get my spreader rate low enough to use for putting out mouse bait at 1kg/ha. The instruction manuel says the lowest it can do is 10kg/min, would have to throw a long way & go pretty fast to achieve that.

Is there any truth to the idea that applying nitrogen earlier helps to delay flowering? Asking for a mate 😳

Great discussion on Faba Bean disease control, management was worth extra 3.5t/ha in Faba Beans from high yielding site in 2021 SW Vic @GRDCSouth @JasonBrand Newer chemistry (ie Miravis Star) as effective in 2 spray strategy as 3 or 4 spray of existing approaches Data attached

@venningj Our DAP was a white beige and absorbed more moisture. It's possible that it came in similar specs for MAP. Someone might be able to test it

Hate feeling unorganized before seeding but new rig is coming together finally. New Deere N540 disc, we fitted uniforce hyd downforce & Aricks wheels on front row for sowing canola. Couple more jobs tomorrow & might be about ready 🤞

Tried this idea today. Works well. Much easier mixing & inoculating companion legumes into a bigger tub.

@Kieranhill26 First few years were fine. If it's consistently off I'll adjust bar offset but I've never nudged incase I save it. I have the same issue though

@Kieranhill26 Bar chooses easiest path. In this case it's the previous year's run?

#AskTwitter are mice a worldwide broad acre farming issue or only affect chosen pockets? It seems our methods of control over a plague eradication mean they will always be something to consider during our season #mice #pest #vermin
