Update: we cooked with gas tonight. Always get the left side window seats when flying eastward.

At this hour, every station in Arizona and Nevada is recording a new *ALL-TIME* monthly record highs. Numerous other states have a majority of stations also recording new all-time high temperatures. Historic is, in my opinion, an understatement.

One thing I’m very fascinated by — is there an optimal tornado width *in relation to the parent mesocyclone* for maximizing strength? How would that be investigated independent of CAPE and other parameters? Wild to see Enderlin occupying basically 1/3 diameter of the meso.
