My old neighbour tells me that in the old days there were Milkmen who every morning drove an Electric Vehicle & delivered milk in glass bottles with foil caps & who would pick up the empty bottles. This is the greenest thing I have ever heard! Why did we stop this?

@wrurestore @griffinkate Yep. Smaller supermarkets, corner shops, direct to the door. We also supply Schools and hospitals :)

@griffinkate Clarity from me. The vast majority of Liquid Milk is processed in England. @totallywelsh process to the cornershop retail business in Wales, not the multiple supermarkets. They will tell me if that's wrong!

There are no actual dairies in Wales. Every drop of milk is tankered out of Wales for processing. I wonder how many tankers per day? through the M4 tunnel bottleneck?

@pepsconeboy7 Thank you for your response - Please can you send us the batch number, which is located next to the expiry date. Also can you tell us where this milk has been bought from so we can check the cold chain from point of manufacturing and how long the bottle has been open for?

@pepsconeboy7 @TotallyWelsh_ Good Afternoon Can I take the location the milk was purchased, the use by date and the batch code from the barcode so we can look into this. Also do you remember what date the bottle was opened and what date the milk started to turn. I can then pass this onto our quality team

We had a fantastic morning at @Prendergast2022 for the first of two days of Fit and Fed sessions! Led by Head of Goalkeeping @JamesDevonald, the pupils were joined by First Team goalkeeper @zac_jones11 and Academy goalkeeper John Chesters for fun football, followed by breakfast!

Today we met and found out about one of the cows that produces the @totallywelsh milk. We enjoyed sharing recipe ideas for how we would use our leeks from @blasytir.
