Called the market bottom twice!!

4/06 - Trump 24h deadline to Iran.
6/10 - Trump Kharg Island threat.
In both cases Trump brought Iran to the table with a huge stick, and the market rallied, marking the bottom.
To call this bottom, I looked at the following:
1. Inflation and oil prices at the time of the threat
2. Midterm election selloff on the horizon
3. Fed chair transition and trumping expectations
4. Last but not least, understanding Trump psychology
5. Adding Bitcoin to understand exuberance

This aged well at the time ! Another contrarian view for Trump's playbook on Kharg Island!!!! This is last-mile pressure on Iran to sign a deal. I hope to see a deal come through soon: 1. It’s a prestige issue for Iran if they really lose Kharg Island. 2. Iran doesn’t want the US as a permanent neighbor on Kharg Island; implications are horrible for global energy markets. 3. The US doesn’t want boots on the ground. These are perfect red lines to make a deal and live in peace! But you never know until you know what was chosen by people.
