27 years after the Raçak Massacre, justice has finally begun to catch up with some of the suspects. According to information presented by the Special Prosecutor's Office, among those arrested are Stanije Tankosiç and Novica Peçinoviç, suspected of being members of Serbian police units operating under the command of Goran Radosavljeviç during the Kosovo war. Prosecutors have stated that investigators secured substantial evidence during the operation, while the identification of suspects was supported by footage broadcast by RTK and Radio Television of Serbia. But justice must not stop here. The Raçak Massacre, in which 45 Kosovo Albanian civilians were killed on January 15, 1999, was not the act of only a few individuals. We will not accept denial of the Raçak Massacre. The truth is documented and clear. Those responsible must be held accountable. Justice has been delayed for too long.
