Today, we wave goodbye to the first of our last 'Queen of the Skies', the B747, departing Mumbai.
Thank you for an era of majestic flights. We’ll miss your iconic presence.

Around 7 p.m. on December 21, 1988, the quiet Scottish town of Lockerbie was shaken by a loud roar from above, initially mistaken for thunder.
This noise quickly turned into a frightening precursor to disaster as Pan Am Flight 103 crashed into the town, destroying homes along Sherwood Crescent.
Lockerbie's residents encountered a devastating scene with fires, wreckage, and bodies scattered everywhere.
The tragedy was soon traced back to a bomb planted by Libyan terrorists in the plane's cargo hold, resulting in the deaths of all 259 people on the flight and 11 individuals on the ground.

If fog and eating on tarmac wasn't enough a @flyspicejet passenger travelled inside the washroom of Mumbai-Bengaluru flight SG-268 on Tue coz once he got in, the door just wouldn't open.
What claustrophobia it must have been
This is the note the helpless crew penned to him:

You know, this is going to be one of the biggest troubles in Indian aviation in future - Violent Passengers.
As of now, it's just one incident. But going forward, as Indian aviation grows and passenger numbers increase, such incidents will likely rise rapidly.
Passengers should understand that fog and congestion are beyond the control of the airline & staff.
On the other hand, airlines should enhance transparency between the crew and passengers, especially when the delay is lengthy and frustrating.
Whatever the situation is, hitting the captain is unacceptable. I hope that this guy is placed on the No Fly list.
Similar to FAA, @DGCAIndia should also introduce penalties in case of physical assault.

A passenger punched an Indigo capt in the aircraft as he was making delay announcement. The guy ran up from the last row and punched the new Capt who replaced the previous crew who crossed FDTL. Unbelievable ! @DGCAIndia @MoCA_GoI
