Our lads were sent into a brutal war zone by politicians, given Rules of Engagement, and told to get on with it. Split-second decisions under fire aren’t “unlawful killings” when you’re facing terrorists who planted bombs and shot from crowds. Decades later the same establishment that sent them is now hunting them while convicted terrorists were released under the Good Friday Agreement and live freely. Meet Gary, I bumped into him randomly a short while ago and had a brief pleasant chat with him about various things inc the decline of The UK. As you can see he goes around in his mobility scooter unashamedly with his Union Jack and St George’s Cross flag. He’s not very politically astute but he is a proud patriot. I might not be ethnically English but we have the same aspirations and left with a handshake bidding each other a good day. That’s the best of British behaviour and people like Gary are what still give me a glimmer of hope for the future of this once Great nation.
