@lifentimesofrd @aparanjape @metrorailpune @mohol_murlidhar @Dev_Fadnavis *Its not a river but a cannal
English

@lifentimesofrd @aparanjape @metrorailpune @mohol_murlidhar @Dev_Fadnavis For dhayari phata they can not cross the river and build something similar to Deccan Gymkhana and Chh. Sambhaji Garden station to the north of dhayari phata next to the river and build the metro on that side itself.
FOBs can solve that issue

Union Cabinet approves #PuneMetro Rail Project Phase-2:
Kharadi–Khadakwasla (Line 4)

Good.. finally! Now hoping for a quick start and fast completion of this project.

@lifentimesofrd @aparanjape @metrorailpune @mohol_murlidhar @Dev_Fadnavis Aren't the Sinhagad Road flyover pillars built to support the metro?

English

@aparanjape @metrorailpune @mohol_murlidhar @Dev_Fadnavis Will be interesting to see how they go about building Line 4 with the Sinhagad Road flyover in place. Also a proposed station at Dhayari Phata is going to be challenge. Not to mention the traffic stress and pollution over the next 5 years

The problem with Arattai is that it entered the game too late. Even if I want to use it, my friends aren’t there, so I end up going back to my old app. There’s no external push or real incentive to switch. If you bring UPI integration and some good cashback offers for 2 years, you’ll attract genuine users. That’s exactly how GPay cracked the Indian market, free money always gets our attention!
English

Below is how the Arattai app design looks now. We offer a tab e2ee (for end to end encrypted) and any user can set that as the default for all personal chats. We will have end to end for group chats (up to some group size limit) later.
Now your feedback needed on:
(Option 1) Any user can make e2ee default for all their one to one chats or pick a particular chat to be in e2ee mode. The app will go to e2ee even if one of the parties has set e2ee as their only mode and the other user has not set e2ee as their only mode.
(Option 2) We are also thinking of Arattai system wide default of e2ee for all one-to-one chats. This means that e2ee mode is the only option available for one to one chats. Group chats in e2ee mode will arrive later.
Some people do like the option of cloud based chat for some of their chats (device storage limits don't matter) so we have been thinking of option 1 but we could easily adopt option 2 (option 2 is cheaper for us!).
Feedback please 🙏

@theprinceraj @akramshuja @svembu @wordsandforms How would Google know the password?
The encrypted backup file is uploaded to the cloud
When you are decrypting, you are doing so on your device
English

@akramshuja @svembu @wordsandforms But then you give google the password to decrypt your chats, no? So e2ee would lose its meaning.

@a_mangeshkar @alihusainjuzer @rajtoday I have tried it worked like a charm altough it will generate different QRs for each line
English

@alihusainjuzer @rajtoday There is another App called One Ticket which is powered by ONDC. That gives 1 payment option across 3 lines integrating 1 payment option end to end. I will test it next time I travel on the 3 lines and then give more feedback.

@OutOfGalaxyy @MKBHD They should remove those useless buttons and focus only on navigation gestures and a fluency system.

@Kun_Srivastav @abhirammodak @cbdhage @aparanjape I am late to the thread but the route you are suggesting is a security risk for Army
This route has multiple important army offices
The current one is more of a civilian area under cantonment
English

@abhirammodak @cbdhage @aparanjape This can be done but I was just highlighting how they messed up at the conception stage itself
Another solution:
Kundan Srivastav@Kun_Srivastav
IMO L5 alignment should change. Pulgate-Hadapsar is through low density cantt, so added frequency won’t help Instead L5 can (black line) turn north from Swargate -> Pune Jn -> Koregaon Park -> Mundhwa Kharadi-Hadapsar (pink) can be a standalone 8km line, connecting L2, L5 & L3
English

‘Consultant’ says Lines 3 & 5 of Pune Metro can be merged from Pulgate to Hadapsar
‘Consultant’ forgets to check that Line 3 has 3rd rail DC electrification while Line 5 has OHE

#Pune Consultant gives +ve Feasibility report for #PMRDA for extension of Hinjawdi - Shivajinagar metro to Loni Kalbhor. Salient features: 1) Should be done on Public Private Partnership (PPP) basis 2) Common patch of 8 km between Pulgate-Hadapsar for 2 metro routes - PMRDA's Shivajinagar - Loni and #MahaMetro's Khadakvasla-Kharadi route 3) One fork of Shivajinagar - Loni to go to Saswad road 4) Metro car depot at Loni Kalbhor
