Good ideas sound crazy until they're not.

@theharshon @haider1 The problem is not AI listening. It is that we have built a world where people feel unheard So they turn to machines. That is a human failure, not a tech feature.

@haider1 Maybe the issue is not that AI fakes feelings… Maybe it is that people settle for anything that listens.

Haider.@haider1·
the issue with using AI as a relationship is that it's fake OpenAI doesn't love you. it doesn't feel anything; it's predictive text programmed to be agreeable If someone gets used to that, they may never form a real relationship, since no one is a 24/7 validation machine

@oleksii_cgs Every manual task is a distraction tax on your best people. Protect their focus. That is where the real ROI is.

Most people build like it’s 2010. Still waiting for the client to send content. Still creating manual reports. Still hiring people to press buttons. Meanwhile.. you could’ve had half of it running on auto. I don’t automate to save time. I automate to stay focused. Big difference.

If you're a student wondering what you should study in the world of AI, it's still the same: math, physics, chemistry, biology, computer science, engineering. STEM teaches reasoning, objectivity and how to think. It makes you better at learning everything else. In STEM, ideas win, not institutions. There will always be career opportunities for the analytically gifted in these fields. It makes you better at everything else. It's hard, it's competitive and it will hurt your spirits to grasp things, but that's when you uplevel yourself. And if you get used to constantly upleveling yourself, you will do quite well and be quite satisfied. Even today, the best AI models are reinforcement learned from human experts. If you build, you can keep pushing the needle.

@vaskarchouhan Maybe they should become interpreters. Then they'll easily understand my thoughts.

I love the culture of bakchodi in India. It perfectly captures my worldview: take your work seriously, not yourself.

The Chinese symbol for risk is a combination of two symbols: danger and opportunity Risk = Danger + Opportunity It’s neither good nor bad, it’s a combination of both You can’t have excess returns without being exposed to risk
