#WATCH मुंबई (महाराष्ट्र): मुंबई मेयर रितु तावड़े ने कहा, "ये जो घटना हुई है उसके बाद मैं हम सब इस विषय पर ध्यान रखे हुए थे दो छोटे बच्चियों के घर के सामने मुस्लिम युवक फिरोज इकबाल शेख (आयु-38 साल) ने उन दो बच्चियों का रेप किया। पुलिस मौके पर पहुंची और उन्होंने फिरोज गिरफ्तार किया और जब फिरोज को लेकर जा रहे थे और उसने जो घिनौना काम किया था उससे परिवार का खून तो खौलेगा तो ये स्वाभाविक है कि एक्शन पर रिएक्शन होगा पुलिस को ये सब मालूम होना चाहिए। परिवार वालों ने इसलिए प्रतिक्रिया दी और इसके बाद पुलिस बोल रही है कि परिवारों ने हमला किया है। जबकि मैंने वीडियो देखा था, हमला नहीं हुआ है...ऐसे समय जब परिवार झेल रहा है ऐसे समय पुलिस दिलासा देने के बजाय परिवार को जेल में डाल रहे हैं...परिवार अभी अंदर है। आज यहां पर किरीट सौमेया अभी भी आंदोलन पर बैठे हुए हैं जब तक परिवार वाले को बाहर नहीं निकालेंगे और पुलिस पर कार्रवाई नहीं होगी तब तक वो यहां पर रहेंगे...उन पर कार्रवाई होनी चाहिए.."

#WATCH मुंबई (महाराष्ट्र): बीजेपी नेता किरीट सोमैया और मुंबई की मेयर रितु तावड़े ने दो नाबालिग लड़कियों के कथित रेप के मामले में घाटकोपर पुलिस स्टेशन पर विरोध प्रदर्शन किया और गलत व्यवहार में शामिल अधिकारियों को तुरंत सस्पेंड करने की मांग की। बीजेपी नेता किरीट सोमैया ने कहा, "यहां पर 5 साल और 6 साल की दोनों लड़कियां तथा दूसरी दो लड़कियां, 4 लड़कियों पर फिरोज इकबाल ने छेड़छाड़ करने का प्रयास किया। 5-6 साल की लड़की फस गई थी। परिवार की शिकायत करने पर लेकिन पुलिस फिरोज इकबाल को पकड़ना नहीं चाहती थी परंतु परिवार ने आग्रह किया इसलिए फिरोज के साथ में दोनों पीड़ित परिवार को गिरफ्तार किया है उसके निषेध में आज हम यहां दोपहर से बैठे हैं पीड़ित परिवार को न्याय मिलना चाहिए...जिस पुलिस और फिरोज ने ये काम किया है उन पर कार्रवाई हो...जिस पुलिस ने फिरोज की मदद की है उसको सस्पेंड करना चाहिए। फिरोज इकबाल के साथ जो भी मिले हुए थे उनको गिरफ्तार करना चाहिए।"
