Tinubu in Jos Confirms ‘Don't Vote for Me’ Prediction on Power Supply
During the 2023 campaign, President Tinubu made a clear electoral promise: “If I don’t give you constant electricity in four years, don’t vote for me for a second term.”
When he took office in 2023, Nigeria had a power supply of over 4,000 megawatts and lower tariffs. Today, the electricity power supply is less than 4,000 megawatts on the average, and Nigerians are paying higher tariffs. Nigeria currently has the lowest per capita electricity consumption in the world, with a rate below 30% of the African average. Africa’s average is 617kwh, Nigeria’s is 144 kWh. This means that Nigerians consume least electricity than other Africans.
In a glaring display of disregard for promises and a lack of trust, President Tinubu, during a brief airport stopover to visit grieving families of the Jos attack on Thursday, April 2, 2026, stated that one of the reasons for his 10-minute stay was that the airport had no electricity. “You have no light here I fly out in ten minutes” At a time when Nigerians are enduring days without power, our leaders cannot even stay a few minutes without it.
Now is the time to stop incompetent leaders—those lacking the capacity and compassion—who prioritise their own comfort over the well-being of the people and make empty promises.
A new Nigeria is POssible. -PO

@ChuksEricE You bloggers are the ones making this boy unnecessarily popular for doing irrelevant things just because you want traffic on your account. Why don’t you show more useful things either way?

A CASTRATED BUNCH OF FRUSTRATED CLOWNS...
Given the fact that they have been castrated by the courts and INEC and they no longer have a party and platform to stand and run on, the Association of Destructive C*nts (ADC) now have more to worry about than @realFFK and @renoomokri!
Who are the ones that have been REJECTED now??? 🤣
They have been REJECTED by the courts, REJECTED by INEC, REJECTED by their original founders and REJECTED by the Nigerian people for being erratic, unstable, unreliable, unserious, irrational, epileptic, divided, crooked, hopelessly corrupt, palpably insane and wholly incapable of forming a united, disciplined and battle-ready political party!
They can't even form a party and hold it together yet they want to rule Nigeria? God forbid!
To be sure they are not just a danger to themselves but to our country!
May I suggest that they channel all their energy to building up and forming a real opposition party over the next 5 years and then field a candidate for the 2031 presidential election?
Given the circumstances that is their best bet because 2027 is already lost to them.
INEC and the courts have spoken. The ADC has been gelded. They have been left with no balls. They are now a party of eunuchs. They no longer have a platform. They are like a headless chicken.
They are like a sorcerer with no staff. They are like a witch with no wand. They are like a racehorse with no legs. They are like a race car with no engine. They are like a ship with no sail. They are like a castle with no walls. They are like a warrior with no sword. They are like a Knight with no armour.
They are like a jilted lover who is all dressed up with nowhere to go.
Poor souls. God works in mysterious ways, His wonders to perform.
This is what happens when all you do is pose for group shots, talk balderdash on television, contract an army of malignant and malevolent trolls on social media, employ the services of leporous and incompetent spokesmen, contract rag sheets to spread lies and fake news, rely on your foreign friends to bring carnage and destruction and destabilise our country and lament from morning till night without offering any concrete solutions.
Frankly they got what they deserved.
Actually I believe they deserve even worse and worse will surely come their way.
To my friends and brothers in the ADC I say "Pe le o", stay calm and have a great day! 😂

@SegunShowunmi @officialABAT 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 I only pity your value metre. Only time will tell who’s astute or not
English

Happy Birthday Mr President, @officialABAT.
Without a doubt, you are an intentional and strategically astute leader. While many things may satisfy a crowd, true leadership demands restraint especially in the consumption of praise so that clarity of purpose and the capacity for consequential action are not diminished.
At this stage, it may serve you well to reflect candidly on the formation of your cabinet. A number of appointments appear driven more by patronage than performance, though there are certainly some commendable choices. The delay in appointing ambassadors has also been unsettling, compounded by a few selections that have raised legitimate concerns about representation and national cohesion. Nigeria must never be projected in a way that invites doubt about our judgment or unity; excessively divisive figures cannot credibly speak for the whole.
On the economy, your direction shows promise. However, greater discipline is required in resource allocation across sectors. Budget integrity must be non-negotiable both in principle and in execution. A government that does not adhere strictly to its own fiscal framework risks eroding confidence.
It is important to remember that the All Progressives Congress was built on the enduring sacrifices of @MBuhari. His persistence over the years consolidated the northern base that your strategic coordination effectively harnessed. Re-engaging that constituency is essential, particularly in addressing the current erosion of support driven by misunderstanding of necessary reforms.
Power must remain balanced. The South West has, by most measures, taken more than its equitable share relative to its contribution to your electoral success. A recalibration is necessary to sustain legitimacy and national trust.
You deserve the opportunity of a second term, as the general trajectory of your policies is directionally sound. However, electoral success is ultimately governed by numbers and the science of coalition-building.
Your recent convention speech was noteworthy, particularly your consistent acknowledgment of the legacy and contributions of President Buhari. That continuity of respect is not lost on discerning observers.
I also acknowledge your gesture of empathy toward Nasir @elrufai. Acts of consideration, even amidst political differences, reflect strength of character and an understanding of the deeper bonds that underpin our political journey.
We must continue to uphold the principle of balance when power resides in the North, it holds for eight years; when in the South, the same standard should apply. Stability in this regard is fundamental to the long-term cohesion of the union.
As I have shared with you privately, your generation carries the responsibility of stabilizing the governing framework of this country. The next phase will require a more deliberate, structured, and forward-looking approach to national development.
Happy Birthday once again, Mr President. May God grant you good health, wisdom, and strength in service to our nation.
