I typically ignore all these false claims attacks. But...
You can apologize now. I am officially divorced.
I won't post any legal docs online, as I respect privacy of my ex-wife, and I appreciate the time we spent together.
I am happy to bet $1 billion USD (or any number you choose) that: I am officially divorced (way before today).
If you agree to take the bet, we can get lawyers to validate my divorce agreement, which should be dead simple.
This bet offer is valid permanently, whenever you feel ready. But if you don't take it within 24hrs, it clearly shows who has been mis-representing to the public.
Moving on to better things to do.

If he can produce a divorce agreement signed by both parties as of today, I will immediately issue a public apology. If he cannot, yet claims in the media and in his book that he is already divorced, then that is a clear misrepresentation to the public — yet another example of him making such claims with confidence.

The safety and experience of our community always comes first.
In collaboration with our partners and stakeholders, and in light of the ongoing uncertainty in the region and its impact on safety, international travel and logistics, TOKEN2049 Dubai will be postponed to 21–22 April 2027.

Well said Ivan.
I don’t really tweet, but I wanted to set the record straight.
I started Dragonfly originally as a fund of funds, and through that practice I met a lot of really talented VCs. And through all of that, Haseeb was absolutely the brightest star, so I invited Haseeb to join me to co-found our VC practice. Through the years, we had to write the playbook for being the first global pure play crypto VC, through 3 or 4 ups and downs of the bear and bull markets.
It's been a very rewarding journey, along the way we've dealt with a lot of craziness and drama.
I’ve been a VC for a long time. And Haseeb has built one of the best partnerships that I've experienced in my 30 years as a VC. In our partnership, I focus on the CeFi and global exchange business, @tomhschmidt is one of the best DeFi and consumer investors in his generation, @HadickM has been one of the most active and influential stablecoin and fintech investors in our industry, and obviously Haseeb is our leader and the head of the band.
It's been an extremely rewarding journey to co-found our VC practice with Haseeb, and I look forward to the many years to come.

Saw this a bit late.
I was the first research partner at Dragonfly, and I was actually there in the early days with Bo, Alex and Haseeb, so wanted to comment.
Haseeb is to Dragonfly what Elon is to Tesla, and he absolutely gets to tell the story of how he had built the Dragonfly of today from the ground up.
If Haseeb is not a co-founder of Dragonfly, then neither is Alex. Alex refused to join Bo until $40M was already raised by Bo. Haseeb joined later when they had ~$55M, out of a $100M fund. Both of them came before the fund was raised, helped with fundraising, got Fund I off the ground.
Haseeb came in as the first technical investor, and insisted on hard pivot into pure play VC and leading deals – previously Dragonfly was fund-of-funds. He brought in all the connections he had built at Meta Stable: NEAR, Avalanche, etc. He recruited Tom who became the next GP, and built out what became the venture business. And Alex was gone within a year.
Ultimately, "co-founder" is just an honorary title given to someone who helped build the firm. The actual title for all three of them was Managing Partner, and Alex and Haseeb were equal partners.
Both @alpackaP and @hosseeb are co-founders, Haseeb got the firm to where it is today, he absolutely deserves to take a victory lap for it, but Alex is fair to protest that he shouldn't be written out of the story. The end.

We just closed Dragonfly Fund IV at $650M.
It's a big milestone, and yet, it’s a weird time to celebrate. Spirits are low, fear is extreme, and the gloom of a bear market has set in.
But here's the thing: we raised almost every single Dragonfly fund into bear markets.
Fund I we raised through the 2018 ICO winter, when almost nobody believed in this space anymore. Fund III we raised right before Luna collapsed. Those were brutal times to deploy capital. But they turned out to be our best vintages.
Last week I caught a lot of heat for arguing that non-financial crypto has failed. I meant that. But the flip side of that argument is: financial crypto is exploding. Stablecoins are eating the world. DeFi has grown so big it's rivaling CeFi. Financial institutions around the world are racing to build out their crypto strategies. And prediction markets are becoming the most trusted source of truth on the internet.
Fund IV is our biggest bet yet that the crypto revolution is still early in its exponential. If you look at our recent bets—Polymarket, Ethena, Rain, Mesh—the growth speaks for itself. Agentic payments, on-chain privacy, the tokenization of everything—crypto's surface area is about to explode, and we want to be backing the founders at the center of it.
We've always believed that the most important work gets done when the noise dies down. We believe moment is now. In fact, we’re putting money on it.
If you're building what comes next, @ us.

SCAM ALERT!!!!
By far the best phishing attempt I've seen targeting ETHDenver attendees.
Here's the playbook:
Setup:
-Fake "Shorooq Closed-Door Dinner Network" on Luma
-Professional branding, AI-powered screening process
-Registration form harvesting contact and company details
The Hook:
-TG DM asking for Calendly to schedule "screening interview"
-Booked via unmanned Shorooq email (hello@shorooq.com)
-Premium verified TG account (+1 717-973-0455, @ShorooqCapital)
-Asked specific, pointed interview question (AI-generated)
-Sent fake Streamyard link: streamyard.ink (not .com)
-Near-perfect HTML replica, likely built in 60 seconds with AI
Red Flags:
-Domain was .ink not .com
-Deleted chat immediately when confronted
What they wanted: Executable file download to steal wallets, accounts, credentials, etc
The sophistication is insane. Premium TG, AI screening questions, pixel-perfect spoof site, perfect timing.
If you registered:
Don't click any links
Change passwords if you did
Alert your team
The bar for phishing just went up 10x. These are getting harder to catch even for pros.
Stay sharp.

0/ A personal update
I have decided to step back from @multicoin. It's a bittersweet moment for me because my time at Multicoin has been some of the most meaningful and rewarding of my life. That said, I am excited to take some time off and explore new areas of technology.
After nearly a decade in crypto, I’m more confident than ever that crypto is going to fundamentally rewire the circuitry of finance. I believe the Clarity Act will unlock a tidal wave of new entrants and spur adoption unlike anything we’ve seen. I remain bullish on crypto, specifically Solana, and intend to continue making personal investments in the space and supporting Multicoin portfolio companies. Moreover, I will continue to serve on the board of @zama, and I will continue in my role as Chairman at Forward Industries (@FWDind). More on Forward in next tweet.
It goes without saying that I also remain bullish on Multicoin. My partners @tushar_jain, Brian Smith, @johnrobertreed, @mattshap1, @xethalis, @SpencerApplebau, and @shayonsengupta are some of the best investors and operators in the world. I am excited for them to continue to drive the crypto ecosystem and Multicoin forward for many years to come.
To all of our portfolio founders, LPs, and industry partners—thank you for the opportunity to work with you.
For reference, here is the letter we shared with LPs today

Anyone has a good idea for how we can blame @cz_binance and @wintermute_t for yesterday’s PA?

Not the first time, won't be the last time.
Been receiving FUD attacks since day 1. Will address it in the AMA tonight, look below the surface on why and how.
While our (self perceived) "competitors" focus on us, we continue to build and grow. 💪
