@lisyarus Every single modern system programming language does this. It makes your code copy-pastable between two different contexts (struct is value vs struct is a pointer) much more frictionless. Not autodereferencing struct pointers on field access is a fundamental design flaw of C/C++.

I've added support for accessing struct fields through pointers! Kind of like -> in C, but using the dot syntax, just like regular field access. It looks more uniform, but hides access through pointer. Wdyt?
