This is not fine, and we know it. We've held off on making an official statement about the #ArmaReforger 1.6 update in hopes that a few patches would take care of the most common issues affecting players. Unfortunately, that hasn't been the case. So how did it even get to this point? The fundamental issue is that 1.6 was a massive update that introduced a ton of new systems and features. It's the most complex update Arma Reforger has ever seen. We had to do it all at once, because we couldn't risk updating the game during Make Arma Not War 2025 and breaking all of the submissions. But such a massive update can introduce a lot of issues. Yes, we did test 1.6 extensively before releasing. However, the truth is, we were not seeing issues at such a scale that they would raise red flags. By all internal measures, 1.6 looked like a performance improvement over 1.4. But we're doing the work. The devs are addressing the underlying issues that were brought to the forefront with 1.6. We are testing rigorously across platforms, we are focusing exclusively on performance and stability improvements, and we continue to monitor and address community feedback as much as possible. The issues affecting players have proven to be deeply entrenched in technical debt, so finding a "silver bullet" to fix all performance issues is not likely. But we are committed, and we believe that Arma Reforger will be better than ever before once we're done. This won't be fixed overnight. We completely understand your frustration; you are justified in your discontent. But please, bear with us. No one wants to get this game running smoothly more than the devs. Thank you for your patience and support.

@MaggieRock83 @icxcnika7 @emilykmay I agree, I interpreted it as a way to lighten the mood but in a large group it may come off distasteful. There are times for discussion whether 1 on 1 or smaller groups. I wouldn’t envision the original post happening with 30+.

I think in an intimate setting you’re absolutely correct, I just wouldn’t presume that during the actual service would be the best time to do this. It also could almost shut down legitimate grievances or questions, like if you don’t say it in front of the entire congregation then you don’t say it at all. I’m not implying this is the case here, I’m just noting that it’s a tactic certain types of people can use to actually shut down discourse while giving the appearance of doing the opposite.

my church service has a "sermon talkback time" and i noticed this one woman always had very direct questions to pose to the teaching pastor. I was finally introduced to her as the pastor's wife, to which she nodded solemnly and said, "yes, I sleep with the minister."

@icxcnika7 @MaggieRock83 @emilykmay Yes There are people who want to make it all about them, but having a smaller church to discuss scripture and differing topics is a great way to grow together spiritually with community. A pastor that turns away questions seems very closed minded and hinders more than helps.

The cringe has levels: 1) "sermon talkback time". Post modern low church protestantism brought to its logical conclusion. No semblance of authority. What qualifies one to speak in front of the congregation? Their own impulses and the desire to hear their own voice. 2) what is going on in their relationship that she feels the need to challenge him publicly? If she had a genuine interest in dialogue she can do it at home. She is playing out her relational or psychological issues in public. 3) as you point out her way of speaking about her and her husbands intimacy in lublic is wildly inappropriate.

Talked to an electrician today who’s been installing a lot of L2 home chargers for people. The product he uses and recommends almost exclusively? What this actually looks like: ICE tries to get woman who thinks she's being cute for a video to move her vehicle. Three agents surround the vehicle, one from the front, two from the driver's side. Likely looking to gain control of the situation. It is not cute to them, as they're being surrounded by a mob. Woman panics, realizing this is in fact not cute, and attempts to flee thinking she can avoid arrest. Tire loses traction and the car doesn't immediately respond to gas input. Woman panics further and guns the gas causing an erratic vehicle take off. Agent at the front of the vehicle almost gets hit. Agents respond by opening fire thinking the woman is using the vehicle as a deadly weapon, trying to hit the lead ICE agent at the front of the vehicle. Woman who shouldn't have even been there, but was there because she got spun out of control on TikTok drama dies. Agents have to live with it. Will likely have people demanding a mob-style execution by COB today. What the Right Wants: Psychotic leftist domestic terrorist tries to kill ICE agents! We should use more force. What the Left Wants: Fascist NAZI psychopaths are murdering women and children! We should use more force. Who actually wins: Minnesota politicians and bureaucrats who can spin this into a riot and continue to avoid accountability for fraud.
