Abducted Blogger Vincent Kipsang: 24 Hours of Silence More than 24 hours have passed since political blogger Vincent Kipsang was abducted from his shop in Kabarnet, and a disconcerting silence persists among Baringo's leaders, human rights activists, and residents. There has been no official communication, nor have any demands been made for his release or information regarding his whereabouts. Kipsang was reportedly seized yesterday evening by unidentified individuals believed to be Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) officers. His continued detention without being presented in court raises significant concerns about illegal confinement and a clear breach of constitutional rights, which mandate that suspects be arraigned within 24 hours.
