OMG! What did I just read? One will soon be able to drive from the border at Ras Kamboni 🇸🇴all the way to Nairobi, strictly traversing tarmac across the whole trip. This is a huge win for reer Jubaland The LAPSSET project is a gift that keeps on giving to the Somali people

*Ethnic profiling has no place in our country!* Indeed, the preamble of our Constitution celebrates and recognizes our ethnic diversity as the people of Kenya. Suffice it to say, Article 12 of the Constitution which is in the Bill of Rights espouses in black and white the right of every citizen to a Kenyan passport and identification documents regardless of their ethnicity. That a media house could therefore go on a rampage, without hesitation, to profile Kenyans only of Somali origin who are constitutionally entitled to be issued with registration documents just like all other Kenyans, is nothing short of ethnic profiling and targeted discrimination against the Somali community based purely on ethnicity. I call out the media house for unprofessionalism, dishonesty and bias. The "investigative" news item was nothing short of attempts at targeting and discriminating the Somalis by casting aspersions on their citizenship. This has NO place in our Constitution!

I honestly don’t think we’re ready for this Eastleigh conversation. Few Observations,. You buy something in the majority of those shops and they want cash. If you don’t have cash, they have their own MPesa agents they tell you to withdraw from. They then make a quick call to the agent to confirm the withdrawal before releasing your goods. That way, they never have to explain their cash flow, but you may one day have to explain yours to the taxman. We’re talking about a multi billion shilling industry with very little transparency, accountability or visibility into how money moves. And as long as they remain the middlemen, pay zero tax, sell “counterfeit goods” the government is comfortable But how dare you use the same business model, open your own wholesale operation and bring your own goods through the port?…..

BREAKING: UEFA have announced Somali referee Omar Artan will take charge of the 2026 Super Cup Final between Aston Villa and PSG in Salzburg.

According to confidential sources, we have learned that the reason #Somali referee Omar Artan was denied entry and returned from Miami Airport, U.S, despite holding a valid U.S. visa, was allegedly linked to findings made during an 11-hour inspection of his mobile phone. Sources told us that U.S. immigration officials reportedly discovered "contacts or communications" involving Mahad Salad and Abdulkadir Mohamed Nur, commonly known as "Jaamac." Mahad Salad is the Director of Somalia's intelligence agency @HSNQ_NISA, while Abdulkadir Mohamed Nur serves as Somalia's Minister of Ports. The sources further alleged that both individuals are "associated of having links to the terror group Al-Shabaab." According to the information received, during questioning by U.S. immigration officials, Omar Artan was allegedly "unable to explain the nature of his relationship with the two individuals". Initially, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) said only that Artan was found "inadmissible due to vetting concerns" following an inspection at Miami International Airport. On June 10, a U.S. administration official provided a more specific explanation, stating that vetting checks uncovered "association with suspected members of terror organizations" and that this information made him ineligible for admission under U.S. immigration law.

Millions must go.
