I was a brand new Air Force pilot driving across country to attend Survival, Evasion, Resistance, and Escape (SERE) training. Drove with a classmate buddy of mine from Oklahoma to Fairchild AFB, WA, nonstop. And we blasted this song the entire way!

@nickythegood I'll go one step further. The mid 70's-early 80's were no picnic. Remember the Mets traded Tom Seaver, the franchise, for Pat Zachry. Probably the saddest day in Met's history, and there have been a many sad days.

The biggest problem with the Mets discourse online right now is A LOT of the Mets content creators are kids. Late 20s, early 30s.
They missed the true Yankee dynasty. Living under true Wilpon rule. Being in or right out of college for 2006 - 08.

Through Democrats’ DHS shutdown, they have solidified their stance as the party of open borders and defunding law enforcement. Today, the Senate sent our bill back to the House to quickly reopen DHS and fund these integral national security agencies.
