thinking about how my grandma never wore any of her 8 babies and my mom never wore any of her 3 babies i can't imagine getting thru the first 6mo of infant care without wraps/carriers... if i had to choose a single baby product that'd be it. i think i'd choose it over diapers.

I’ve lived in SF for 30 years and my car has never once been broken into. I have never been assaulted by anyone on the street. Only had one break in ever and it was the fault of a contractor and they barely got in the front door before running away because people were inside. There is lots of poop, I simply try not to step in it. I’ve stepped in poop maybe 6 times in 30 years. Had a knife pulled on me once at 3am and talked the guy down. Never had my bike stolen (when I had one). Been locked out of my house and slept on the sidewalk and had absolutely nothing happen to me. For those who move here and complain and clutch their pearls, a lot of your problems are caused by how you carry yourself combined with your inexperience of big cities and being forced to step outside of your shield of privilege. SF is no more dangerous or dirty than LA or NYC and I have spent lots of time in both so you can argue with someone else, the only difference is here because of the geography you are constantly confronted with the inequality and wealth disparity and so you are rattled by it every day.

“Just cosleep ***safely***” Safely is code for don’t be disgustingly obese, don’t be an alcoholic, don’t do any narcotics, don’t smoke. But you can’t say that, so neurotic high-anxiety moms think they need special bedding/a firmer mattress. Nope just don’t be a RETARD.
