@ColeyMick No I’d explain why it’s a stupid argument to keep making. No matter what the frame of reference is there is going to be a specific point between a ball and a strike, regardless of what graphic is on the screen. The whole point is to remove subjectivity…

Who cares man they have to draw a line for a pitch being called a strike somewhere
Even if they make a rule that 20% of the ball has to be in the zone or something, then people will just be upset when 20.0001% of the ball is in the zone and it’s called a strike

The only thing that you can say for ABS is that it’s consistent within itself.

I’m sorry the same thing applies. There has to be a bright line, it’s either a strike or not. That clipped so it’s a strike. You can’t advocate for edge cases

Per tonight’s broadcast, Italy vs PR was the first time ever a baseball game has been nationally televised in Italy.
Hype and visibility means a lot, especially at an impressionable age. After Olympic years, we always see a huge jump in swim team sign ups for age group kids.

@iJordanMoore Your tweet led me to look this up. Apparently Baseball Ireland limits the number of dual citizens that can be on the team. Even though WBC doesn't require citizenship in a country. Eligibility for citizenship is enough. They're leaving a lot of talent behind that way.
