@sunrun
I've had my solar panels for almost 15 years.
So I can say I have had plenty of experience with Sunrun.
Here is my take
First off HORRIBLE!!!!!!!!!!!!
Communication? Once you open a case for warranty or removing pannels due to getting roof fixed, good luck with that. I had my pannels off for almost two years with no generation.
I kept getting passed to next department, to next department. 2 years!!!!!
Once they started to come out?
They had to make about 6 trips because of their internal lack of communication. 6 months pass.
Warranty work? Another 1 year to get pannels replaced. So after all that they issue a credit on my account to make good. I'm thinking ok fine!!!
Now they removed the credit less than half way through. I call in to ask why? Customer service guy says sorry this was remeved because they should have never given it to you. And there is nobody you can talk to about this.
@sunrun you are a horrible company with horrible customer service. You have provided me with horrible solar experience.

@leotesauro @Sunrun Don’t bother with the chat bots they don’t really care about you.
English

@Sunrun DM you.
Feel free to look at all the headaches you have put me through.
Hopefully you make good on your original commitment.

@leotesauro @Sunrun Agree terrible customer service . Stay away from this company
English

@SolarAndy4Gs More like scam you for the next 25 years. My rate from Sunrun is higher than the rate from my local provider
English

@_ShahKruti It’s a big lie - the truth is that you end up paying more for Sunrun over the long term than you would have if you didn’t sign up. All a big scam. My Sunrun rate is higher than the current rate from my local electric company.
English

@bennett_shannon @Sunrun @EversourceNH Terrible company to work with. Customer service is horrible. Can’t prove what electricity is being generated because it’s all ent billing from the electric company. But just trust me, that $2k bill you just got is correct. Now pay up! Don’t bother with customer service
English

@Sunrun does not guarantee the output of their product if you own it outright. Only if you lease it. That is bad business practice if you ask me. How can I have solar and still be paying $700 a month in electricity. Ridiculous! @EversourceNH
English

@Sunrun horrible service to say the least
You pay and nothing ever works and then they blame you

@KathleenGo26328 @Sunrun Terrible customer service. Every time you call endless waits to get to a person. When you do get someone they are the least helpful I’ve ever dealt with. Satay away from this company
English

@Sunrun why am I being asked to call and no one answers? Stop wasting my time!

I am a realtor in Southern California and I am in escrow on a home with Sunrun Solar which starting leaking with the current rain. They came out and tore open the wall and then left the client stranded and claimed it was not their fault after admitting it was. We have proof that it is leaking. Here is the video youtu.be/oiDJNMwXsL0 Do not use Sunrun.

Providing customers with the opportunity to achieve much greater economic stability, resilience and independence by being the national leader providing batteries, and solar. And then using it all as a home based power plant to back up the grid when needed. Lets GO. @Sunrun
Sunrun@Sunrun
Nearly half of all residential storage capacity installed in the U.S. last year came from one company: Sunrun. SEIA's inaugural U.S. Energy Storage Market Outlook report shows the sector added 3.1 GWh in 2025. Sunrun's reported 1.5 GWh represents approximately 48% of that total. “Our deliberate and decisive pivot to provide Americans with energy independence is why Sunrun leads the residential energy storage sector.” — Sunrun CEO Mary Powell. @k_thomas7 @Sunrun I have had the same old terrible service with Sunrun as well. I just want to warn people not to do business with this terrible company

NEW: Sunrun ranked #11 out of 300 on @TIME's list of top-performing U.S. companies advancing America's energy infrastructure.
The ranking evaluated companies on environmental impact, innovation, and financial strength. What stood out to TIME? Companies building solutions that improve energy efficiency while strengthening grid reliability and lowering costs for American households.
As TIME notes, Sunrun's subscription service and distributed power plants are "stabilizing the grid and lowering energy costs for everyone in the system." With AI and data centers pushing demand higher while extreme weather strains the grid, reliability and predictability matter more than ever.
We're proud of this recognition as we continue to deliver energy independence to families across the country.

@kimberlyvaughRN Agree worst experience ever with Sunrun. They have the worst customer service

SUNRUN SOLAR TRIED TO BURN MY HOUSE DOWN!!
As a healthcare professional, I can confidently say that if I had delivered care as subpar as Sunrun's service, my career would have ended long ago. The lack of accountability exhibited by Sunrun is unacceptable. After our main electrical panel overloaded, causing a power outage in the summer in Bakersfield, we suffered significant losses, including all of my son's insulin, which he requires as a type 1 diabetic. This led to the need for new prescriptions from his physicians and complicated explanations. Additionally, we lost a substantial amount of food and freezer contents from two refrigerators and a deep freezer, resulting in thousands of dollars in losses. We were ultimately forced to replace our main electrical panel, as it posed a fire hazard to our home and our neighbors. Throughout this ordeal, we provided Sunrun with numerous emails, videos, photographs, and documents as requested, only to be met with empty promises and a lack of solutions. Despite our efforts to cooperate, Sunrun has refused to acknowledge their potential responsibility for the initial issue. I strongly advise against using Sunrun for solar services, as their post-installation support is virtually nonexistent. Our experience has been a nightmare, and I would not wish it on anyone. I urge others to explore alternative companies for their solar needs. DO NOT USE SUNRUN 😡
English

@Sunrun is the worst decision I have ever made. Your sales representative lied to my face, and lied in my text. My electricity bill is so high since installing sunrun it’s impossible for me to keep up. Pre sunrun my average bill was 250. After sunrun my bill is 3x. $800 -$2000
English

@Sunrun @MaryGPowell Their door to door salesman here in Texas lied to me about cost savings. I now pay more than I did before I got the panels and they won’t even discuss that I was lied to. Signed on a tablet and got paperwork after. I won’t rest until the whole world knows.

@AdlerGoode @bdinvestingg Crap company - would never invest in them - worst experience I’ve ever had with customer service

The White House just announced that grid infrastructure is essential to national defense. Here are the stocks that benefit :

The push is for transformers, transmission lines and conductors, substations, and high-voltage circuit breakers

@pan81341 @Sunrun @MaryGPowell Agree- horrible company. Hard to deal with. Sent me a $2k bill with no backup and said trust me it’s fine
English

@Sunrun @MaryGPowell Skip Sunrun. My system has a dangerous reverse polarity issue they refuse to fix, claiming it's "fine" despite a 50-92% production collapse. I need a real electrician to prevent a fire and repair this year-long failure.
English

@pricefoulger @AlexFinn Sunrun is a terrible company to deal with - anyone but them
English

@AlexFinn just get sunrun or another solar system with tesla batteries...the tesla roofs are not good (from a roofer)
English

Do you understand how cool this is?
On my desk is a DGX Spark running a Hermes agent powered by Qwen 3.6
It runs 24/7/365 doing tasks for me. Doesn't matter if the internet goes out. I have super intelligence running for me at all times
Next step I want to get a Tesla solar roof so I'm dependent on NOBODY to run my intelligence.
Even if they cut off my power I'll keep going.
This is the future. Sovereign intelligence.
