There are moments that are evident enough to us that the world is watching Uganda. Today, our very own @ghettokidstfug have again carried the Ugandan flag onto one of the biggest stages on earth, performing alongside @shakira & @burnaboy at the @FIFAWorldCup Final. This is bigger than dance. It is bigger than entertainment. It is yet another proof that a dream born in the streets of Kampala can inspire billions across the globe. To every young Ugandan, never let where you come from define where you can go. Talent, discipline, resilience, and faith can open doors no one imagined possible. Congratulations to the Ghetto Kids for making our nation proud and showing the world the beauty, energy, and limitless potential of Uganda. The future of Uganda’s creative industry is global, and this generation is leading the way. Keep dreaming. Keep believing. Keep representing. 🇺🇬❤️ #ProudlyUgandan #GhettoKids #UgandaToTheWorld #WorldCup #AfricanExcellence #CreativeUganda

#JustIn: 💔Karamoja is crying in silence. In just Lokatap village - Lokorein parish - Regen Subcounty - Kotido District, reports say more than 100 people have died because they had nothing to eat. The government is silent. The media is silent. But people are dying. How many more lives must be lost before someone cares? Please share this post. @kirya_ug Ugandans need to keep the pressure going on those thieves, the government need to auction their assets, pay interest on stolen funds and be imprisoned. Ugandan are tired of a country that looks like a latrine.

On July 24, 2026, former Kampala Lord Mayor and lawyer to jailed Dr. Kizza Besigye, Erias Lukwago, is expected to appear before the High Court for the hearing of his bail application before Justice David Matovu. The application comes amid growing concerns about his health following his abduction on June 15, 2026, and remand to prison on June 20, 2026. Court records and medical reports indicate that Lukwago's condition has significantly deteriorated while in custody. An independent medical assessment conducted by five senior consultants at Mulago National Referral Hospital, on June 30, 2026, found that he suffers from multiple chronic conditions, including severe spinal complications, neurological disorders, hearing-related conditions, chronic pain, and hypertension. Lukwago told the court that, without his specialised orthopaedic pillow, he has been forced to rely on sedatives every night to sleep, describing them as "addictive" and "dangerous" to his health. The Mulago specialists further recommended that Lukwago be urgently referred to his treating spine surgeons at the Fortis Memorial Research Institute in India, citing limitations in Uganda's capacity to diagnose and manage complications associated with his artificial cervical disc implants. The High Court's decision on bail will determine whether Lukwago can access the specialised medical treatment recommended by his doctors while awaiting trial. #SaveEriasLukwago #FreeEriasLukwago

@GTP_Podcast @GTP_Podcast I knocked doors for Trump expecting a better foreign policy about my country Uganda 🇺🇬. Uganda 🇺🇬 has a dictator of 45 years in leadership. I am disappointed that I walked in snow ❄️ for this administration. Under Trump we have the worst happening in Uganda 🇺🇬.

@GTP_Podcast I totally agree with what the current speaker is talking about. China 🇨🇳 and the United States 🇺🇸 are the problem.

I am deeply disappointed by the unethical conduct displayed by Minister @JustineNameere during these supervision visits. If the intention is genuinely to improve service delivery, every unannounced supervision should be conducted alongside qualified technical experts who can objectively assess challenges and recommend practical solutions. Visiting an understaffed health facility and publicly reprimanding the Officer-in-Charge, instead of documenting the staffing shortages and systemic challenges, does little to address the real problems facing our healthcare system. Effective leadership is about solving problems, not creating spectacles. Frontline health workers deserve professionalism, respect, and support not public humiliation.

Why should Karamoja hunger act as a surprise every year, ministries Keep on calling meetings, taking relief, then speeches as if it's a surprise, Karamoja needs permanent solutions of modern agriculture. Uganda has capacity to cater for refuges, then why Karamoja @wmungadi
