@OnlyInDigital I always see people use this argument when its just dumb. The whole point of a unique is to be UNIQUE. Having a UNIQUE skill attached to it is literally the point. It means you are going for a build for that specific unique and gives the item more power/chase potential.

@NeverSinkDev My issue with these built in skill uniques is that these could very well be actual skills that would really help the the game because it feels dry when it comes to skills. Now you need to get a specific item to access a new skill instead just adding new skills to the game.

One of my top issues with PoE2 previously was that most uniques are pretty uninteresting.
This improved a lot starting ~0.3ish.
I also really like the trend that many new uniques have unique skills attached.

@NeverSinkDev I mean compare PoE2s current endgame to PoE1s at this same point in development. I dont even think PoE had much more than just basic maps. What I care about more is what this looks like a year after 1.0 where they actually iterate on it.

Another PoE2 Atlas rant.
Flavourwise, I really like PoE1 endgame setting more.
In PoE1 the Atlas are connected alternate worlds and abstractions inhabited by absolutely mesmerizing eldritch beings that fight for dominance over the endless, while all exiles who enter that space become part of the problem over time.
It's much more compelling as a setting than...
Another lake, another forest, another tower. Yey.
In PoE2: it's a map, but it's endless for some reason and there's nothing you can do to actually 'solve things'.
I personally expect GGG will eventually revamp the system to follow the PoE1 story-line.
I know many don't care at all about the lore, but this still feels like a complain worth mentioning.

Finally got around to the Patch 7.5 Part 1 MSQ today. Quick spoiler free thoughts~
Honestly felt like it could have been both parts, it pretty much handles the transition from Dawntrail -> Evercold almost in its entirety, which is in stark contrast to how the end of ShB -> EW and EW -> DT felt.
Excited to see what part 2 has cooking!
