1. I used no 3rd party software at all, let alone cheating software. 2. I still quit your game over Vanguard. 3. You're lucky af I did, because I would be leading the lawsuit charge if I hadn't. 4. I'm tempted to sue you bitches anyway to get my spent money back, my quitting was clearly forced and justified.

Game: Valorant AC: Vanguard (VGK) Today’s Vanguard anti-cheat update blocked the majority of DMA firmwares using SATA/NVMe. VGK suddenly triggered an IOMMU restart warning in-game, after which the DMA firmware becomes completely unusable, even without the game running or after uninstalling Vanguard. Only fix is a full OS reinstall. It’s using IOMMU to create read blocks, which permanently breaks the majority of almost all SATA/NVMe firmwares once triggered. Even the advanced H2-board got affected. Confirmed Firmware Block wave by @ItsGamerDoc

The shitstorm around Subnautica 2 highlighted a very telling detail that fits perfectly with the whole "red button vs blue button" discussion. There are two types of players: 1. Some want to use every tool the game offers and play their own version of Subnautica. 2. Others are rule-loving bootlickers who can only enjoy the game when they’re strictly following the official rules they were given. The funniest part is that it's exactly these rule enforcers who are furiously resisting the simple request to bring back a basic mechanic from the first game - the knife. This would let people have fun instead of being forced into this stifling underwater stealth-action. There's literally zero downside for the rule defenders: don't want to use the knife/torpedoes/drills? Just don't use them :3 Go play your peaceful happy little soy underwater farm. Those who want to go full survival psycho can do that too. But the mere idea sets the rule guardians' asses on fire. Deep down they probably know that without artificial restrictions they couldn't stick to pacifism. Funny enough, I did a full pacifist ghost run of Dishonored on my first playthrough and went full murder machine on the second. During the ghost run the weapon icons didn't bother me at all because I chose not to use them. On the second run I wanted to hack and slash everything that moved😼 Seems like the rule defenders lack that kind of self-control. If the devs add the knife back, their inner itch won't let them play pacifist anymore. And that's exactly what they're afraid of.

@TheyNeedRights I think this is rather harmful. Being trans or cis has no impact on how likely you're going to be a shooter. Also, some cis shooters might have been closeted trans people. This comic implies that trans people are different than cis people, which is not true

Husband: “He doesn’t look like me… I want a paternity/DNA test.” Wife: “So after 12 years, you think I cheated?” Husband: “If you’ve got nothing to hide, it shouldn’t matter.” DNA test comes back… he’s the father. Husband: “See? Now I have peace of mind.” Wife: “And now I have clarity. I’m leaving.” Middle Son: “Mom… why does Dad hate me?” Husband: “You’re divorcing me… over a test?” Wife: “No. I’m divorcing you because you looked at your own child and saw doubt… and looked at your wife and saw betrayal.” Months later… Husband: “Can we spend Christmas together… as a family?” Son: “No.” Wife: “He deserves to be around people who make him feel loved.” Even later… Husband: “Why is everyone treating me like I’m the bad guy?” Everyone: “Because the DNA test proved he was your son… but your actions proved you weren’t acting like his father.”

@TopGyaru The downside of pressing red is that people could die because of that.

Everyone on earth takes a private vote by pressing a red or blue button. If more than 50% of people press the blue button, everyone survives. If less than 50% of people press the blue button, only people who pressed the red button survive. Which button would you press? BE HONEST.

For anyone still confused; If everyone pushes the red button, everyone survives. Done. If anyone pushes the blue button, they're committing suicide unless they can convince at least half of everyone else to also risk suicide in order for none of them to have to actually do it, but they want to, and now get to, brag they were willing to kill themselves & convince a multitude of others to as well, even though there was a perfectly logical, non-suicidal option the entire time that wouldn't have risked any of the population.
󠁧󠁢BeuwenDragon@BeuwenDragon

Blue button pushers are easily manipulated by deceptive wording, selfishly resorting to emotional coercion to manipulate other people into gambling their lives to save them from the consequences of their own choice, all while gaslighting everyone to thinking they are altruistic.

Performative altruism is a huge problem. The correct answer to this poll is red. If you answer red, you live. Everyone should thus answer red, and everyone lives. There is zero reason for a single person to press blue, if every person is saved by pressing red, and a blue vote is a toss up if you get killed or not. But people who want to feel morally superior about themselves are choosing the answer they see as altruistic, even though it is objectively incorrect and will get them and others killed. Translate this to the real world and things like criminal justice. Morons allow the axe murderer free, because they want to feel merciful. “Look at me, aren’t I just so magnanimous!”

New Trolley problem has arrived, only it's dumber. Pres Red - 100% chance of living. Blue - Non-zero chance of dying. It has nothing to do with empathy for others unless you're stuck on suicidal empathy, which is YOUR fault, not mine. There is ZERO logical reason for ANYONE to press blue. NONE.
