New presentation by Dr. Matthew Budoff on the @Heartflow analysis for Keto-CTA. This is the third analysis of the CCTA scans for our study, with the fourth and final MEDIS QAngio currently underway. @nicknorwitz, @AdrianSotoMota and I will not be commenting on these data until all four analyses are complete, which is expected to be next month. Note: Heartflow was unable to process 5 of the 200 scans due to technical limitations. These participants are excluded from all quantitative analyses in this presentation to ensure consistent comparison across datasets.

@yarwell He's saying that the macronutrient data covers diets that are not representative of what we find in the literature. Remember this is a meta analysis, it uses existing studies. Which is why it's odd

@AdrianSotoMota Can you help me understand why Fig 4 doesn't seem to show any reductions in LDL-C, whereas some of the RCTs in BMI 25-30 clearly did. Is it just that the individual data available didn't cover those studies that found a reduction ?

Since orthogonal estimates of non-linear models are hard to interpret, we built graphs of their predictions to ease this comparison. Note BMI's influence on the change of LDL-C is way larger than SatFat intake's influence.

In line with our CDN paper above and with our recent paper with @I_mitochondria (doi.org/10.3389/fendo.…), the meta-regression showed LDL-C went ⬆️ for those with a healthy BMI and ⬇️ for those with a BMI>35. Saturated fat intake was not a significant predictor of LDL-C changes.

@DoctorTro Fig 4 above is a sub-analysis of 1/4 of the participants with individual data. The forest plots of the whole study populations show reductions in LDL-C in the overweight -

95 miles driven in #id3 63% of battery remaining and 153 miles range left - so in theory 248 miles possible. Rapid charger in use by a #leaf so sat on slower AC charger. Time to get office out of boot for 30 minutes. Topping up a bit now rather than later when will have passenger
