Kora Sir: The Physics Guru Who Loved Science Enough to Name His Children Newton, Darwin & Curie Kondaveti Kodandaramaiah, KORA Sir to generations of students, was not just a Physics teacher. He was a man who loved science so deeply that he named his children Newton, Darwin and Curie. Kora passed away at Vikarabad at 12.40 pm on May 17, 2026. His last rites were performed at the campus of Quantum Life University in Vikarabad, founded by his son Dr Newton Kondaveti. For me, his passing is personal. I first met Kora Sir when I came to Nellore from Kodad, then in Nalgonda district and now in Suryapet district, carrying my father’s dream that I should become a doctor. Joining Kora College in Bujabuja Nellore (chemudugunta) was my entry into a larger world. Kora College was then one of the most respected centres for Intermediate education and medical and engineering entrance coaching. Students came from distant towns and villages across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. Many of them later became doctors, engineers and professionals across the world. At the centre of that institution stood Kora always in white, dignified, disciplined and deeply committed to teaching. Physics, which frightened many students, became simple in his classroom. He had the rare gift of breaking down difficult concepts without losing their depth. I was awestruck by his classes. The way he explained Physics had a lasting impact on me. Much later, when I taught, trained or explained complex issues in journalism and public life, I realised how much I had absorbed from him: clarity, simplicity and respect for the learner. I came from a small-town background. Until then, my world was limited. I was still discovering the competitive world outside. Kora College changed that. It brought me into contact with students from different regions, communities and backgrounds. It was a place of academic pressure, ambition and transformation. I did well in Intermediate, scoring above 93 per cent, and performed well in EAMCET, though I narrowly missed an MBBS seat by two marks I got around 1000 rank but then the medical seats were limited . Life eventually took me away from medicine, but those Nellore years shaped my confidence and intellectual discipline. Kora Sir’s legacy lies in the lives he changed. His students spread across professions, cities and countries. Many of my own classmates from Kora College went on to become doctors. For families like ours, teachers like him carried the hopes of an entire generation. His eldest son, Dr Newton Kondaveti, later founded Quantum Life University at Vikarabad after a journey through medicine, hospital administration and spirituality. It was there that Kora spent part of his final years, and where his last rites were performed. The family also endured tragedy. His son Darwin passed away young after a painful struggle following an incident that took away his vision. Yet Kora remained in the memories of his students as a steady figure of learning, discipline and purpose. There were other memorable teachers at Kora College too Dr S.V. Narasimulu, who was fond of me and whom I admired deeply, Rajagopal garu, Ramakrishna Reddy garu and others. But Kora Sir always stood apart. Today, as I remember him, I do not see only a teacher at a blackboard. I see a generation of students sitting before him, trying to understand Physics, trying to fulfil their parents’ dreams, trying to find their own place in the world. Some teachers finish a syllabus. A few shape lives. Kora was one of them. May his soul rest in peace. Note: Kora institutes were taken over later by rank thirsty colleges #Hyderabad #KORA #Nellore #Obituary

DAY 498 RESPECTFULLY ACCEPTING YOUR CHALLENGE, DEAR PRIME MINISTER @narendramodi We heard your powerful appeal in Hyderabad:Stop non-essential gold purchases for one year Reduce cooking oil consumption Cut down fuel usage Avoid foreign trips We, the people of Telangana, are ready. For the next one year, we will wholeheartedly follow your suggestions stop buying gold, reduce cooking oil & fuel consumption, and avoid foreign travel if it truly helps strengthen India’s economy. But in return, we have one humble request:Please approve Hyderabad Metro Phase-2 immediately. Dear Prime Minister @narendramodi Approving Hyderabad Metro Phase-2 (162.5 km, ₹43,848 crore) will permanently reduce fuel consumption, ease traffic, save foreign exchange, and improve public health far more effectively than temporary sacrifices. Daily reality of our city:94+ lakh vehicles choking the roads 1,500+ new vehicles added every single day Citizens losing 3–4 hours daily in traffic The State has done its part full takeover completed, proposals submitted, record GST collections. This is a win-win for the nation. We accept your call for sacrifice. Now kindly bless Hyderabad with the infrastructure that will reduce the need for such sacrifices forever. Every Cabinet meeting gives hope. Every Cabinet silence gives heartbreak. @revanth_anumula @OffDSB @PMOIndia @Secretary_MoHUA @AmitShah @AshwiniVaishnaw @Eatala_Rajender @RaghunandanraoM @KVishReddy @kiran_chamala @TelanganaCMO @HMDA_Gov @md_hmrl @HMRLHydmetro @GummallaSrijana Citizens, JOIN THE MOVEMENT. RAISE YOUR VOICE. STAND WITH HYDERABAD. LET’S WIN THIS TOGETHER. We are ready to do our bit for the nation. Now give us the Metro we deserve. When Hyderabad moves faster on Metro India saves more fuel and foreign exchange.Hyderabad contributes ₹1 lakh crore annually in taxes, yet loses thousands of productive hours in traffic daily. Enough delay. Approve Metro Phase 2 NOW. #HyderabadMetro

Shri Chintala Venkat Reddy - The first independent farmer in India to receive international patents (from the WIPO, Geneva). He is a Pioneering Organic Farmer from Alwal, Hyderabad receipient of the Prestigious PADMA SRI Award in the year 2020. Shri Chintala Venkat Reddy is a legendary figure in Indian agriculture, celebrated for his revolutionary "soil-centric" approach to organic farming. A native of Alwal, Hyderabad, he transitioned from a traditional farmer to an internationally recognized innovator, eventually receiving the Padma Shri (India's fourth-highest civilian award) in 2020. Biography at a Glance : Born : December 22, 1950, in Alwal, Secunderabad (Telangana). Background: Born into a humble farming family, he assisted his father from a young age but had to discontinue his formal education after the 12th standard (PUC) to manage the family's 40-acre farm. The Turning Point: In the late 1970s, he noticed that chemical fertilizers were depleting the soil's natural strength. This led him to experiment with traditional wisdom and modern scientific logic to restore soil health. Major Achievements & Innovations : 1. International Patents for Soil Restoration : He is the first independent farmer in India to receive international patents (from the WIPO, Geneva) for his unique farming techniques. His most famous innovation is Soil Swapping. The Technique: He discovered that the subsoil (soil from 4–5 feet deep) is rich in minerals that have long been depleted in the topsoil. By digging trenches and bringing this nutrient-dense subsoil to the surface, he restored fertility without using a single gram of chemical fertilizer. 2. "Soil as Pesticide" (Matti Dhraavanam) : Instead of chemical sprays, Reddy developed a method of using a Soil Spray solution. How it works: He mixes dried, filtered subsoil with water to create a slurry. When sprayed on crops, it creates a thin layer of clay. Pests that ingest this soil cannot digest it and die, while the minerals in the soil act as a foliar nutrient for the plant. 3. Vitamin-D Enriched Rice and Wheat : In 2021, he achieved a global breakthrough by naturally enriching staple crops with Vitamin D. While most rice has 0% Vitamin D, his crops tested at 102 to 141 IU per 100 grams. His wheat varieties reached even higher levels, up to 1832 IU per 100 grams. This was achieved purely through natural nutrient management and mineral applications, aiming to solve widespread malnutrition without expensive supplements. 4. Global Recognition : His farm in Telangana became a "must-visit" for global leaders interested in sustainable food security: Bill Clinton (2001) : Visited and praised his grape-growing techniques. George W. Bush (2006) : Personally met Reddy during his visit to Hyderabad to learn about his low-cost, high-yield organic methods. Awards and Honors : Padma Shri (2020) : Awarded by the Government of India for his "innovation in agriculture." WIPO Patents : Multiple international patents for soil nutrient management and bio-fortification. World Record : He once achieved a yield of 105 tonnes of grapes per hectare, a world record for the Anab-e-Shahi variety. His Philosophy : "The soil is the stomach of the plant. If the soil is healthy, the plant is healthy, and the human who eats it will be healthy." Reddy remains active today, teaching his "CVR Method" to thousands of farmers for free, proving that high-yield farming doesn't have to come at the cost of the environment.

Sir @PawanKalyan till Jagan was CM of AP, there were daily tour packages to Tirupati from Chennai organized by TTDC & APSRTC, 100s of devotees got benefited daily. TTDC was operating an excellent tour in sofisticated Volvo trips that they extended the Tirupati packages starting from Coimbatore, Salem & Trichy as well. Sadly ever since NDA government came to power in AP last year those tour packages have been stopped, making Tirupati Darshan elusive for middle class devotees, since booking special darshan in online is very difficult as it gets over within minutes of opening and Sarva(free) Darshan takes around 24hrs in queue. Now please tell sir is nt this a case of being 'Anti Hindu'. Please take of your state and help in improving Darshan experience in Tirupati, TN government & TN HR&CE will take care of Temples in TN

Thirupparankundram is the First of the Six Abodes of Lord Murugan (Kartikeya). The practice of lighting lamps atop the hill during the Tamil month of Karthigai is an ancient tradition of Hindus. It is sad and ironic that today the Hindus in Bharat have to seek judicial interventions to practice their faith and perform their rituals. If, even after winning a decisive legal battle, devotees cannot perform a simple, peaceful ritual on their own property, then where, in their own country, shall they truly find constitutional justice? In short and simple, let all the Hindus in Bharat understand this - The bitter truth is - The Chennai High Court affirmed our right to light the Deepathoon - first by a single judge, then upheld by a higher bench. Legally, the battle was won. Yet, practically, we were forced to adjust. Ask yourself - Can any religious festival be moved a week late? Can a holy day's celebration be shifted to a different time? No. Because the sanctity of religious time and the integrity of every religious calendar is non-negotiable. Yet, for Sanatana Dharma, the moment—the sacred Karthigai Deepam—was stolen, vanished forever. Why? Because Hindus can be taken for granted. Sometimes it's the governments, sometimes it’s the executive, sometimes it’s the NGOs, sometimes it’s a random pseudo intellectual groups – but every time, it is Hindus who accept the loss and adjust. We secured the right, but lost the ritual. This repeated, systemic denial is why a time has come to demand more than just court victories - We need the Sanatana Dharma Raksha Board where devotees actively manage their own temples and religious affairs. Mockery of Hindu traditions and rituals has become a norm for certain groups. Do they dare to do the same for other religious events? Does Article 25 become an optional right instead of a fundamental right to the Hindus? Can a Police Commissioner or a District Magistrate unilaterally nullify a specific High Court Directive? If the High Court confirmed the Deepam lighting was a "harmless religious act" on legally owned land, who decides that this practice constitutes a threat to "communal harmony," and by what legal mechanism? How come HR&CE Department consistently and repeatedly act against the interests of Hindu devotees and their temple's traditions, and how do these officials evade serious accountability? Hindus should observe the collective spirit and solidarity shown by practitioners of Abrahamic religions (religions of Arabian origin) when religious issues arise. They overcome their ethnic, regional, and linguistic differences for the sake of their faith. As long as Hindus remain divided by caste, regional, and linguistic barriers, the mockery, insults, and abuses against the Hindu religion and its practices shall continue. If Hindus in our nation don't unite under a common minimum program with the collective spirit of Hindu Dharma (or Aram in Tamil), this spirit will be lost. I hope for a day when every Hindu from Kashmir to Kanyakumari and Kamakhya to Dwarka wakes up to the humiliation Hindus face in their own land. #Tiruparakundaram #SanatanaDharmaRakshaBoard

Dear @mlkhattar MoHUA On behalf of the people of Hyderabad, we extend our sincere gratitude for your reassuring words and for the Central Government’s commitment to completing its participation in Hyderabad Metro Phase 2. Your assurance that the Centre stands ready to support the project has generated immense hope across our city. Hyderabad has waited far too long for this critical expansion. Metro Phase 2 is not just an infrastructure project it is a lifeline that will transform mobility for millions, reduce congestion, and shape the future growth of our metropolitan region. In this spirit, we humbly request that the Union Cabinet accord approval at the earliest, so that the long-pending works can finally begin on the ground. Hyderabadis have already lost precious time, and we are eagerly looking forward to seeing the project move into execution without further delay. @kishanreddybjp @revanth_anumula

DAY 318 – HYDERABAD KEEPS BRINGING THE WORLD. BUT DELHI STILL WON’T BRING THE METRO. Hyderabad is not just growing Hyderabad is outperforming every global tech city. This is a city that delivers: investment, jobs, innovation, stability, talent, and tax revenue. Approve Hyderabad Metro Phase 2. Dear Prime Minister @narendramodi, Another global giant has chosen Hyderabad. L’Oréal is setting up a Global Capability Centre (GCC) right here adding to the 70+ new GCCs Hyderabad attracted in 2025 alone, including 30+ Fortune 500 companies such as Netflix, Eli Lilly, Costco, McDonald’s and more. Hyderabad is not just growing Hyderabad is outperforming every global tech city. This is a city that delivers: investment, jobs, innovation, stability, talent, and tax revenue. But what does Hyderabad get in return? World-class companies. Third-world infrastructure. Fortune 500 campuses. Pothole-to-pothole commuting. Global GCCs every month. No Metro Phase 2 approval for 12 years. L’Oréal trusts Hyderabad. Netflix trusts Hyderabad. Eli Lilly, McDonald’s, MassMutual, Micron, Qualcomm all trust Hyderabad. But Delhi still doesn’t trust Hyderabad with its own Metro expansion. Sir, this is not just a policy delay. This is economic sabotage of India’s fastest-growing city. Hyderabad desperately needs: Metro Phase 2 (162.5 km, ₹43,848 crore) Medchal–JBS connectivity Completion of NHAI’s half-done flyovers IIM Telangana sanction The State has done its job. The DPRs are ready. The companies are coming. The world is investing. But Hyderabad is stuck because Delhi is stuck. Prime Minister , Hyderabad is carrying India’s growth on its shoulders. It is time India carries Hyderabad’s needs with the same sincerity. Approve Hyderabad Metro Phase 2A & 2B NOW. Finish the incomplete NHAI flyovers NOW. Give IIM Telangana NOW. Because the future cannot wait in traffic. Because a global city deserves global infrastructure. Today I was in Bengaluru. Reached Purple Line Metro at 10 AM. It was closed due to technical issue. No information. Thousands were stranded. Confusion everywhere. We went back & took the car. It took 2.15 hours for 25 kms. Would have taken 45 minutes by metro. This shows how important it is to have running, well connected metro in a city like Bengaluru. Do not create anything more on the road, decongestion with metro is the only option. @DKShivakumar ji. Don't start anything for political reasons. No tunnels please. If one day, one line closure can impact tens of thousands, imagine how awesome it would be, if the city is connected by metros running flawlessly. We need to have World class public transportation which has more routes and trains. Put QR code with the contractors information and make them accountable to complete on time. Finish all existing projects. No new projects. No scams. You can rewrite history @DKShivakumar ji. Please... This is a wake up call. Ok, now that I have written this post, I need to drive back now again 😭😭😭 2.5 hours back ❤️ Anyone else affected today on Metro lines? #FI
