A big secret I have found to increasing happiness.
Spend money on the things you use most often.
Coffee machines.
Toothbrushes.
Door handles and light switches.
Chair at your desk.
Pillows and duvet.
Spend a lot where you use the most.
Massive game changer. 🔥

@IncomeSharks Don’t sweat the vanity metrics, you have a strong and engaged audience right here, that’s priceless. If you every consider enabling Super Follows, I’m in!
Large accounts like MoonCarl only care about follower counts and engagement. While he's getting 20x the engagement stating a fact about $TWTR I got less than 100 likes saying to buy the stock before this happened. Start giving likes to the content you want to see more of
@ivanburazin@ivanbrezakbrkan@MislavMalenica@flaviar_com Well, addiction has the connotation that your habit is hurting you rather than helping you. So as a business you’re trying to create a habit/loyalty/relationship but not addiction.
This morning, I caught myself thinking about one of the most intriguing AI moral dilemmas. Happening right now, around us.
Take a few moments and join me in analysis.
A thread.
@ivanbrezakbrkan@MislavMalenica@ivanburazin@flaviar_com So while you would see this as a moral responsibility, companies are more likely to take steps due to pragmatic reasons and economic incentives. Think recalls in auto industry - never done just to save lives, only when it’s cheaper than paying individual settlements.
@ivanbrezakbrkan@MislavMalenica@ivanburazin@flaviar_com Same dilemma as game developers and social media companies have I guess. You’re trying to make your product “sticky” so it becomes a habit. But if you’re too successful it can lead to addiction.
Nekoc je bil @mimovrste skoraj paradni konj slovenskega ITja. Dober service, dober customer care. Danes je le se senca vsega tega. In medtem ko oni posiljajo obvestila o poteku VIP clanstva, se bivsi uporabniki ful sekiramo... Ful.
