It’s (very) early days, but so Brennan Johnson has made an encouraging start to his Palace career. In short:
• He's excelling at the things Spurs fans said he’d be good at (running in behind, receiving the ball in dangerous areas, shooting from good locations, defending from the front)
• He’s not doing the things he’s not good at (incisive passes, dribbling past players).
£30m+ sounds like a lot of money for a player with some obvious limitations but he fits the profile Glasner loves for a number 10 and if he continues in the vein that he’s started, there’s plenty to be excited about.
