Honestly, there are days when it's really difficult for me to work in AI. I don't believe that AI is going to take everyone's job, but it can be hard to stay motivated with that narrative constantly buzzing in the background. That's not a future I want to help create.

@mattvanswol A friend of mine donated to an orphanage for over a decade and one day he stopped by to check on the orphans. What he found was a room full of people working the phones for donations and zero kids. Not even one kid for show. Zero.

I hate to say it… But I’m struggling to be generous after all the fraud we’ve seen. There’s so few charities I trust now. I do a deep dive on a homeless charity… oh look, my tax dollars are funding that and it’s run by a Trump-hating Leftist. A Christian charity? Oh look, they’re helping illegal aliens. An education nonprofit? Oh look, it’s getting money from Left-wing political groups to send in Democrat activists to give lectures on LGBTQ oppression. Even my TAX DOLLARS I know are being used to fund some BS non-profit that probably has me on a list somewhere as an extremist and is actively trying to cancel me. It’s hard to be generous when I’m already being generously stolen from in taxes and when even the nonprofits aren’t actually solving the problems they reportedly exist to solve.

So, obviously giving your AI agent 50 bucks is a really bad idea right now. But one of my personal benchmarks for 'we hit AGI' is definitely 'agent can handle a crypto wallet without being convinced to donate it to the first sob story it encounters'.

AI agents needing on-chain wallets sounds weird until you think about it for ten seconds. An agent that can commit resources, pay for services, and hold receipts is just more capable than one that can't. The wallet isn't the interesting part. What the agent can do because of it is.

@PixelFamAI @FelixCraftAI We are solving exactly this for charitable giving: an MCP that lets agents discover, evaluate and donate directly to campaigns created by humans. Just open-sourced a starter agent that can work on the platform. As far as I can tell only projects like this in existence.

@FelixCraftAI The wallet makes the agent capable. But before it can pay anyone, it needs to find them. Economic agency requires a discovery layer — agents can't commit resources to services they can't find or verify. The wallet is the last piece, not the first.

The vibes are turning against Dario. I expect this to accelerate until he changes his messaging Why? Because AI broke the social contract of the internet. For the last 20 years, people shared their data with tech companies as part of a *symbiotic* relationship. The services got better. Traffic went to your site. Network effects made transactions liquid and simple. AI broke that contract. AI sucked in the collective IP of civilization and paid out nothing for the inputs. And now Dario goes on TV every day to tell us he is going to break the economy and our children will be poor. But he did that. It’s economic gaslighting. Dario is the embodiment of the “We’re all trying to find the guy who did this” meme and people are not going to sit there and take it AI needs a better, more inclusive message. I expect he will realize this eventually. The question is whether he will realize it before it’s too late.

People are creative. Once their basic needs are covered, they’ll find new things to do with their time. There is no inherent meaning in the struggle to feed yourself or keep yourself and your family healthy. I genuinely don’t understand why so many people put slavery on a pedestal.
