It's pretty simple. They don't pass. Since Ritchie went down, they average 9.4 assists per game. That's 364 out of 365 teams in D1. That's on the coaches. They don't teach it. They don't talk about it. And to the extent they do, they certainly don't require it. KY is a great recruiter. But he never required his team to pass the ball. In the game of BASKETBALL. Unthinkable.

Something changed over the last day or so with FSD v14.2.2.5… After a few thousand miles without an intervention, I had two last night at stop sign intersections where the car did not want to proceed unless I pressed the accelerator (if I let off too soon it actually tried to decelerate). @TechOperator and @nikkharris have also experienced this behavior in completely different geos which makes me believe Tesla may have modfiied model weights. Anybody else notice anything out of the blue with FSD the last day or two? @tesla @tesla_ai @aelluswamy

Still so much upside. Imagine this team if it wasn't 364th out of 365 D1 teams (since Richey got injured) in assists. 10.1 per game. Even before Richey they were 194th. I never hear a BYU coach seem to understand that if this team, with this talent, would really move the ball, they would beat every single team they played. But they think they're doing great, that they have it "figured out." They are about to find out.

The problem with losing Richie Saunders is BYU can’t take AJ Dybantsa off the floor. Kevin Young rode his horse to death, so AJ tried to draw fouls over the final 10 minutes, and the refs weren’t blowing the whistle.

The LDS church is touting a 9% increase in charitable giving in 2025 (up to $1.58B). I applaud the increase, but it is not near enough. It's not very impressive when @twm_report estimates that their investment fund increased by ~12% (up ~$25B to ~$231B). It gets worse... 🧵

Designed in Silicon Valley. Congrats @Rivian on your launch. My analysis: this will get some buyers and excitement, but it's facing a much stronger Tesla than existed last year. Tesla's FSD is way ahead of what Rivian is offering and my consumer research shows more and more getting excited by FSD, particularly in China, where Tesla's sales have gone up the last quarter for the first time in years. It will have a hard time getting enough consumers excited about buying to be able to get to profitability. Plus, Elon is readying a ton of Tesla news for next month that will take the excitement (if any exists, I don't see much) away from Rivian. That said, I sure wish consumers cared more about electric and innovation. Buying a Rivian is 100x better than buying a gas vehicle. One last thing: so many tech companies are laying off, or threatening to lay off (and tech workers are the ones who would be excited about buying an innovative new vehicle like that) that I'm worried that the buyers just won't be there. My friends and family aren't able to consider buying a new vehicle right now, particularly one that isn't the most innovative on the market in USA. And in China? The competition is way way worse than here in USA. Just not expecting a runaway success here.
