Wer „vom Staat“ lebt, lebt von der Gesellschaft.
Die Gesellschaft trägt die Bedürftigen mit. Das ist gut so.
Aber die schamlose Anspruchshaltung auf ein finanzielles Buffet an Leistungen getragen von den Arbeitern in der Gesellschaft - darauf haben die meisten einfach keinen Bock mehr.
Jede WG weiß genau wie das ist wenn der eine Gammler den Putzplan nicht einhält aber alle anderen schon. Gleiches Prinzip.
In einer Gesellschaft in der man auch Hilfe beanspruchen möchte sollte jeder einzelne überlegen wie man selbst etwas beitragen kann. Das ist menschlich, sozial und anständig.
Das scheint mir verloren gegangen zu sein.

Viele schrieben mir in letzter Zeit ich sei feige, weil ich auswandere anstatt für das Land zu kämpfen.
Bei allem Respekt, dafür kämpfe ich nicht. Die Mehrheit möchte nunmal den Untergang. Dann bin ich eben derjenige, der gehen muss.

@yarvin_stoltz wie sieht’s da mit als familie aus? wir wollen auch raus aus DE und es gibt echt nicht allzu viele optionen wenn man sich nicht grundsätzlich verschlechtern will plus eben gute schulen für kind haben möchte. wie ist da deine einschätzung?

Es ist ein absoluter Zwiespalt. Manchmal denke ich mir, es wäre deutlich einfacher nicht zu wissen was man alles weiß. Sich nicht mit all dem beschäftigen was hier in Deutschland passiert.
Auf der anderen Seite kann ich auch einfach nicht mehr weg sehen bei allem was uns hier angetan wird.
Geht es euch auch so?

@marclou you think it will also be good for a family with children? we are from germany and really cannot find any suitable country. thought about portugal or madeira but there are also not great for all points. with a child it becomes wuite complex somehow with school and everything

I moved the startup office to Cyprus 🇨🇾 We've been here for a few days and it reminds of Bali (kind people, lots of gyms + startup scene + good weather) but in Europe (organic food + good AQI + walkable). It's also tax-friendly (12.5% corp tax, 0% capital gains) which makes it a great place to live. We often hear German and English on the streets. We're in Paphos right now, hit me up if you're around!

@libertas_HH keine angst. die merken das glaube langsam selbst wie absurd das alles ist. geht halt keiner mehr essen… wir kochen mittlerweile einfach alles selbst. ist eh bessere qualität am ende. die werden sich aber wundern wenn das erstmal die mehrheit macht. denn dann ist das permanent

Hier mal ein Auszug aus der Getränkekarte eines Restaurants, das wir öfter besuchen.
0,3 Liter Cola 4,10 Euro
0,3 Liter Schorle 4,50 Euro
0,3 Liter Tafelwasser 3,50 Euro
0,75 Liter Mineralwasser 7,90 Euro
Ganz ehrlich: Ich finde, das steht mittlerweile in keinem Verhältnis mehr.
Ich zahle gerne für gutes Essen und Qualität. Aber bei Getränken habe ich oft das Gefühl, dass hier die eigentliche Marge gemacht wird.
Natürlich haben Gastronomen Kosten. Personal, Miete, Energie, Steuern. Das ist mir bewusst.
Aber 4 bis 5 Euro für 0,3 Liter alkoholfreies Getränk fühlt sich inzwischen einfach teuer an.
Wie seht ihr das?
Sind das normale Preise oder ist hier eine Grenze überschritten?

In meinen letzten Posts ging es öfter um Restaurantbesuche. Viele sind bereit für gutes Essen und Qualität Geld auszugeben. Aber was viele stört, sind die Getränkepreise. Und ehrlich gesagt kann ich das verstehen. Wenn ein Gastronom einen Liter Cola für unter einem Euro einkauft und dann einen halben Liter für vier bis fünf Euro verkauft, reden wir von acht bis zehn Euro pro Liter. Das ist schon eine enorme Marge. Beim Essen akzeptiert man Qualität und Handwerk. Aber bei Getränken fühlt es sich oft einfach überzogen an. Ich wäre zum Beispiel ein Fan davon, wie es in den USA üblich ist, dass man kostenlos Leitungswasser bekommt. Wie seht ihr das? Sind Getränkepreise im Restaurant fair oder mittlerweile einfach zu hoch?

This is what they won’t tell you about scaling to $6k mrr in 72 hours :
1. ANYONE can do it. Look at me I am a dad in my basement in my pajamas drinking a protein shake out of the blender…
2. Unless you get extremely lucky, this will be more time consuming and stressful than a salary position 99% of the time.
3. Grit is everything, speed and execution is ALL that matters. I have friends that are literally 100x smarter than me but they literally don’t ship. If you don’t ship you can’t win.
4. There is almost nothing that can compare to the high highs and the low lows of playing this game. One day you feel like you are god, the next defeated.
I did not “make it” yet, I’ve chewed glass for two years to make 6k lol I will have made it when I make 100k mrr.
Okay back to work, I’m shipping insane features for QuickClaw right now.

today i made 8 mobile app prototypes/mvps with rork, just to use the remaining credits for the month. now its time to finish my first one and get going with the second one and then lock in distribution before tackling the next one. hopefully one of them will stick :)
