Did I say he gets paid by SpaceX? No. You're interpretation is largely naive so let me try to help you understand better. Isaacman's company Shift4, in which he personally owns roughly a 30% stake of, purchased $27.5 million worth of SpaceX shares in 2021. Shift4 has a partnership with Starlink worth millions annually. So you see, SpaceX doesn't pay him directly, he has vested financial interests in SpaceX.
Isaacman also refused multiple times under oath to answer whether Musk was present at the Mar-a-Lago meeting where Trump offered him the NASA job, as if that isn't eye raising alone.
And no, I'm not a hater. I like a lot of what SpaceX does because I'm am a space enthusiast. But I will point out the facts when I see them. This level of politics and strategic monoplization are exactly the kind of things that have been plagueing the manned space missions for decades and I hate it, so I'm going to call it out where I see it.
