They only lock what the numbers justify because locking everything frustrates customers and hurts sales. People abandon carts when they can’t easily grab items It’s not random or targeted at specific demographics in a discriminatory way, it’s solely based off store data and what items get stolen the most Sunscreens are an item that isn’t stolen very often, even for resale
