@DrMichaelOren Last I checked, this war didn't start with an Iranian sneak attack on a US or Israeli military base. If anything, it was the opposite. If that left a foul taste in some mouths, well, it should have.

If the New York Times reported the war in 1944 as it’s reporting the war today. President Roosevelt continues to pursue a war for which he failed to prepare the United States. Though there have been some significant military achievements, especially in North Africa, U.S. forces remained bogged down in the Pacific and severely bloodied in strategically meaningless places like Tarawa and Guadalcanal. The Italian campaign has totally stalled, with an appalling loss of American life that will soon be surpassed by the utterly reckless and inevitably doomed invasion of France. Meanwhile, the innocent people of Japan and Germany continue to suffer. The damage to both their countries and the impact on the world economy is incalculable. The chances of a negotiated settlement appear more than ever remote. And all of this because the impressionable Roosevelt was duped into going to war by that master manipulator, Churchill.

Totally false. Noncitizens do not get welfare at double the rate as a percentage or in monetary amounts. They receive welfare at the same rate as the US-born population. Even the Trump admin concluded that in 2018. In money terms, they’re less costly.

For Civil War people: If you haven't read Henry Kyd Douglas's "I Rode with Stonewall," do so. He was with Jackson from Jackson's initial posting at Harpers Ferry through the Valley Campaign, Antietam, and Chancellorsville, almost all of that time on Jackson's personal staff. Wounded and captured at Gettysburg, he was exchanged and ended the war leading the last unit to stack its arms at Appomattox. It's anecdotal, with lots of personal accounts both of Jackson and day-to-day life in the Confederate army. Douglas himself was a sort of a David Niven type--charmingly self-deprecating, good humored, often funny, and a gifted story-teller. In my experience, it's unique among Civil War memoirs.

The Pilot episode of Gene Roddenberry’s STAR TREK (1965) was rejected by NBC and not seen in full until it’s release on VHS in 1986 (although it was incorporated into the Season 1, 2-part episode "The Menagerie" in 1966). #JeffreyHunter #LeonardNimoy

@greendragonhq Regarding transgenders its Dems who are obsessed with letting them play against biological women. Like other women they are eligible to play against males which is fair.

0.00196% of NCAA athletes are transgender. 0.0000001% of votes come from undocumented immigrants. This is what MAGA obsesses over.

“Immigrants are working at way higher rates than the US-born population, which results in more tax revenue being created,” says Cato’s @David_J_Bier. He discussed the benefits of immigration on “Why Is This Happening?” podcast with @chrislhayes. ➡️ youtube.com/watch?v=Uhj5m_…

@ajlamesa I currently live in Germany. The taxes here are, by American standards, insane. But you can actually see them being spent well. Transit is very good. Streets are clean. Police actually do policing. The city puts effort into housing development, downtown businesses, etc.

Absolutely sickening to live in a country where politicians seem to have almost zero concern for the well-being and welfare of the citizens they serve. No universal health care system, collapsing public transit, airport security officers unpaid, and rampant disorder and insecurity on our streets. What do we pay taxes for?

I'll always remember Chuck Norris as the man who changed the course of dodgeball history by casting the deciding vote that allowed Average Joes to play in the championship of the Las Vegas International Dodgeball Open where they upset the heavily favored Globo Gym Purple Cobras. RIP. 🙏

If Biden lets in 5-10 million migrants who aren't supposed to be here, and they get to stay, that's a huge victory for the Dems who did it, and a virtual guarantee that the next Democratic administration will open the floodgates again.
