@ScottishBevan Name me one tangible benefit of doing this. It won’t bring workers pay up, it doesn’t say “we want growth in the economy”, companies will either find ways round this or move their corporate headquarters out of the country all together, it’s nothing more than politics of envy.

The important thing to recognise here is that Clavicular has won. Whether you think he looks good or bad here, people are solely measuring in terms of which looks hotter. You are all playing the same game.

@scottygb They should have transitioned it into a drama series instead, showing what life may be like for the contributors who have since died as well as the director if an afterlife does exist. Then they could return to the drama every 10 years showing new fictionalised accounts of life

ITV has announced 70 Up, the documentary following contributors every seven years, is to come to an end.
The director Michael Apted died in 2021. The Up film series has aired since 1964. Final episodes this year.

The new Prime Minister of Hungary is a center right politician whom the majority of Hungarians recognized that whether they fully agree with or not — was the better choice than the autocratic fascist.
