@TopTierPucks You can have a good game analytically but make mistakes on goals at critical times. He’s still great and the good outweighs the bad with him by far but it wasn’t his best game..

Last night was the perfect embodiment of Evan Bouchard’s entire season
Bouchard was analytically the most dominant defenseman on the ice, elite on both ends and had an 80.1 xGF% and anyone who watched this game will tell you that
Oilers haters and casuals who didn’t watch the game took a screenshot of a 5 second clip where Nurse didn’t play his man to discredit Bouchard’s entire performance

Another result where fans & media will shit on the Oilers for effort & god knows what else. Just like last year's final, you can't spot Florida 2 or 3 goals when, at worst, they should be up one or even. Getting the odd save is a must. Without them, the ask becomes a tad much.

Auditions now start for Draisaitl’s PP slot. Nobody shoots it like he does from hashmarks down to goal line so that piece of PP puzzle is irreplaceable. Three PP possibilities are Roslovic, Savoie and Kapanen all righties. Not sure Podkolzin fits on a PP

Losing Draisaitl for last 14 games is big blow but only one team has best player in world McDavid. He plays 23 mins a game now, maybe he gets it up to 25. Taking McDavid off PK would be a first step. No blocking of shots. Increase his ES minutes
