I'm disappointed that some of my Republican colleagues spent Senator Mullin's confirmation hearing playing political games about lapses in critical funding - when they could just pass the bills today.

When Sen Coons had the opportunity to fund TSA Agents he voted no. It was a political stunt because he knew that a no vote would not remove one dollar from ICE. He knew TSA pay would be affected and still voted no. He did this because he is too weak to stand up to Schumer. He is a pansy. Now he wants to somehow blame Republicans. Sen Coons doesn't care if TSA Agents get paid or not. He was just told by his staff today that every Dem Senator had to post this ridiculous nonsense today. So he did. Because that's what he does. Republicans are treating TSA workers as political leverage instead of the essential workers they are. @SenateDems have tried five separate times to fund TSA and other essential DHS functions – Republicans have blocked us every time.
