Visas, citizenship ceremonies, asylum applications... it makes absolutely no sense why we're punishing law-abiding immigrants purely on their nationality.
For Republicans and the Trump admin: Venezuela is good enough to extract oil and gold, but Venezuelans are not good enough to reside and transact in the United States.
We need to restore these legal immigration processes for Venezuelans - and all nationalities impacted by Trump's "travel ban" - immediately!

حس میکنم دیگه عضوی از خانوادهم نیستم، دیگه دوستِ دوستای داخل ایرانم نیستم، انگار یه بخش بزرگی ازم دیگه وجود نداره. انقد با هم حرف نزدیم و از هم خبر نداریم و همزمان تجربهی زیستهی این ۴۰-۵۰ روزمون متفاوت بوده که اصن نمیدونم چیزی از اون آدمای قبلی و حرفای مشترکشون مونده یا نه.

@SenEricSchmitt Respectfully, OPT is a training program that allows students to gain experience in their field, not a “cheap labor” pipeline. Like any program, it may have exceptions or misuse cases, but it can be improved rather than shut down. Selective examples don’t reflect the full picture.

We followed that path, but we’re being forced to leave because of our nationality. I am a professor, came here as a PhD student and now my Green Card application and H1b is not being processed, I am loosing my legal status after about 8 years!

Many brilliant Iranian students came to the United States with nothing but their dreams, their talent, and their respect for the law. They believed in the promise of this country, a place where hard work, freedom, and merit matter.
Today, many of those same students and immigrants are living in fear and uncertainty because of the #USCISPause . These are people who followed every rule, respected every law, and have absolutely no connection to the Iranian regime. Yet their lives, their careers, and their futures are now hanging in limbo.
If you are a lawyer, a policymaker, or someone who believes in justice, please stand with them.

While Iran is under war and repression, regime affiliates freely live in the U.S. with green cards and even citizenship, laundering money and promoting the IRGC. Reviewing these cases is reasonable.
