Siri AI is expected to introduce a multimodal LLM layer that is deeply integrated into apple ecosystem @freecodexyz will support any open source project willing to invest, from day one, in reverse engineering the relevant macOS system APIs and runtime interfaces required to invoke apple native inference capabilities programmatically and arbitrarily we are gonna place a big bounty on this this would unlock a broad surface area for third party open source libraries capable of powering local agentic AI applications built on top of native apple infrastructure for the first time we may have high-quality OS level inference exposed through consumer operating system primitives. insane era to build with AI

The answer is building a financial layer and marketplace on top of the RIK. The key is building true financial value for those who participate in the market to make profit or to have exposure on a tokenized open source market, all of this without binding a maintainer/OSS project to be tied to token launch.

Problem: Open-source software powers the internet, but most maintainers capture almost none of the value they create.
Solution: (@freecodexyz) Create verifiable ownership for repositories and build a financial layer around the software itself.

Even if could technically be possible I think there will be some real hardware limitations. There is no massive difference between M2 and M3 generation in terms of NPU power, the only real discriminating factor is most probably other hardware relates feature not well supported before M1 and M2.
