So we rebuilt GitBlock into the first community-driven Base Token Scanner and Analytics platform: - Real-time launch detection. Every new Base token. Every launchpad. 15-second refresh intervals. - Scam detection. GoPlus-powered security on every token. Honeypot code, high buy/sell taxes, unrenounced ownership, mint capabilities. Base is the fastest-growing L2. Solana has a dozen token scanners. Base has almost none. We built the one we wanted to use. Why the scanner says Clanker, not Bankr. Bankr uses Clanker's smart contracts. They are the same protocol on-chain. Every Bankr token is deployed through a Clanker factory contract. There is no way to distinguish them programmatically unless the token's metadata explicitly mentions Bankr. The scanner identifies the Clanker protocol (Uniswap V3 or V4 pools with specific launch patterns) and labels tokens accordingly. If a token's name, symbol, or description contains "Bankr" or "BNKR", it gets tagged separately. This is accurate. The underlying technology is Clanker. some of the best early hires come from roles that are hard to define. in the early days you don't always know if you need ops or community or growth or just someone who lives online and understands what users want before they've figured it out themselves. there's no clear job description for that and no obvious resume that maps to it. our first non-eng hire was like this. the role was a mix of outreach, user research, customer conversations. we did a work trial before committing, which turned out to be the right call. and it worked out really well. they left recently to go start something of their own, which is about the best outcome you can hope for. trust the signal enough to create a test, then let the actual work settle the question. resumes are a proxy for the job. the work is the job.
