Until 1971, Los Angeles Airways would ferry passengers to and from LAX, Disneyland, and other destinations across LA’s 75+ helipads. But the noise & cost of helicopters has prevented any new urban air taxi service from taking off in the last 50 years, despite numerous attempts (including my previous team at Uber). I’m pumped to announce that @flyarcher is changing that as we unveil our Archer LA Air Taxi Network ahead of the 2028 Olympic Games, the Super Bowl, and the FIFA World Cup! In 1961, you could take a helicopter from the San Francisco Ferry Building across the Bay Area in under 10 minutes. SFO Airlines soon thereafter ceased operations, and Silicon Valley has been without any real urban air mobility for nearly 40 years. That’s about to change. Excited to announce that at @flyarcher we’ve partnered with @Kilroyrealty with the goal of developing the first San Francisco Bay Area eVTOL network, anchored by a critical Sea Portal hub in South San Francisco. Our Chief Infrastructure Officer, Bryan Bernhard, and our design team led by Julien Mountousse, have been leading this collaborative effort over the last year, so we’re excited to finally share more. Here are the key points: ✈️ Archer’s San Francisco Bay Area network is anticipated to provide unprecedented connectivity across the region, allowing people to replace 1-2 hour drives with flights that take ~10-20 minutes 📍 Archer and Kilroy have identified Kilroy’s Oyster Point South San Francisco development as a critical hub in Archer’s planned Bay Area network ♻️ Kilroy and Archer are studying the development of a proposed Sea Portal, which is intended to serve as a waterfront mobility hub for eVTOL aircraft and electric ferry operations using renewable energy news.archer.com/archer-san-fra…

It was a pleasure to host @InterGlobe_IGE Founder Rahul Bhatia and CEO Aditya Pande at @flyarcher HQ recently! Excited to collaborate with India's aviation leader on launching what could be the largest eVTOL market in the world.

It's impossible to invent the next generation of one of the world's safest modes of transportation at Archer without working closely with regulatory leaders, all over the globe. It was an honor last night to be hosted by His Excellency @SalehAlJasser, Minister of Transport for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Chairman of @ksagaca, at a private dinner in Riyadh. I discussed the framework for eVTOL certification & commercialization in the UAE with our partner His Excellency @Saif_Al_Suwaidi, the Director General of the UAE @gcaauae, as well as Brazil's Director of @oficial_Anac, Luiz Ricardo de Souza Nascimento, all of whom are playing pivotal roles in advancing this transformative technology across the Middle East, Brazil, and around the world.

Proud to announce we've signed an agreement with @etihad Aviation Training to be their first eVTOL partner in the region. Training a fleet of pilots to operate our aircraft is a critically important part of @flyarcher's efforts to establish a thriving urban air mobility network in Abu Dhabi and the UAE, and Etihad Aviation Training is the premier organization to partner with on this front. In celebration of this agreement, we held a signing ceremony at the @FAF_Saudi in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, where we're showcasing our Midnight aircraft to key stakeholders in the region. .@flyarcher's leadership in the UAE was on full display at the @DRIFTx_AD event in Abu Dhabi last week. We kicked off the week by announcing a several-hundred-million dollar framework agreement, the result of over a year working with @badralolama and the @InvestAbuDhabi, to accelerate our pathway to launching Midnight across the country as soon as 2025. We were proud to commemorate this moment by bringing Midnight back to the UAE and sharing it with His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, along with our partners, including His Excellency Mohammed Ali Al Shorafa from the UAE's @AbuDhabiDMT, Nayef Shahin & Jasem AlAwadhi from @InvestAbuDhabi, @RAMANDEEPOBERO4 from Falcon Aviation, Shilton Tony Irudayaraj & Dr. Samir Mohamed Yusuf from @Air_Chateau, and our early investor @Mubadala. Today's announcement with @InvestAbuDhabi that we've signed a term sheet that provides @flyarcher with a substantial incentive package to manufacture and operate our aircraft here represents a definitive moment in Abu Dhabi's efforts to lead the UAE, and the rest of the world, in standing up electric air taxi operations. @adamgoldstein13 and I were honored to commemorate this monumental agreement with His Excellency, @badralolama and his team at ADIO via a signing ceremony here at @Driftx_AD to showcase the strength of our partnership and celebrate the exciting future we're building together as we aim to begin commercial operations with Midnight in the UAE as early as 2025.
