@PachiDoom @shinobi602 It released two years ago. FO4 released in 2015 and has nearly 16K players rn on Steam, Veilguard has under 600.

Age has nothing to do with it, quality does.

@PachiDoom @shinobi602 I'd disagree. Imo, Solas was the only compelling character that kept the story moving forward.
But there's a reason why it has abysmal Steam player counts.

that + the good gameplay is probably why it had such a mixed reception with the ign critic liking it

If I remember correctly, the IGN reviewer was praising the gender dysphoria in the game.
Combat was decent and the graphics were great, but cartoony. Ultimately was a huge let down for the franchise.

@Simon397449 @shinobi602 The game had issues tying back to older lore and disrupting past player choices. The review might not focus on that and on the gameplay which I heard was good.

@beyond_fps I don't mind, I'll be at 4K DLSS Performance + FG. Planning on using a mix of Ultra and Cinematic settings with Ray Reconstruction.

The performance difference enabling Ray Reconstruction is brutal on Crimson Desert, goes from ~80s fps with 4K DLAA to ~55 with DLSS on Quality
They must be enabling higher quality RT settings when RR is on, there is no way otherwise

@shinobi602 I honestly don't trust majority outlet reviews anymore, especially ones like IGN. They've become so inconsistent and you don't know whether they're praising or shaming a game based on Left wing politics.

Here's some of the DLSS 5 material we saw in the demos but didn't get a chance to film. Here I think you can see the strengths of DLSS 5 - reflections become much more attractive. Starfield doesn't have great lighting to begin with, so the differences can be profound.

Too many are too polite to say this. But mass ritual prayer in public places is an act of domination. The adhan - which declares there is no god but allah and Muhammad is his messenger - is, when called in a public place, a declaration of domination. Perform these rituals in mosques if you wish. But they are not welcome in our public places and shared institutions. And given their explicit repudiation of Christianity they certainly do not belong in our churches and cathedrals. I am not suggesting everybody at Trafalgar Square last night is an Islamist. But the domination of public places is straight from the Islamist playbook. Trafalgar Square belongs to all of us. It is a national memorial to our independence and our salvation. Last night was not like a televised football match or a St Patrick’s Day celebration. It was an act of domination and therefore division. It shouldn’t happen again.
