This is truly triggering me, I made a comment and I’m astounded by how many people think you’ve maxed out after 1-3 years of training
I started working out at 17
By 19 I wanted to bench 315
By 27 I could do it naturally for reps
By 28 I wanted to bench 500
I did not bench 500 until I was like 37
And were not talking some passive dream
I showed up for a decade
I trained naturally from 17 to 28 or 29
Then enhanced from 29 to 41
I’ve competed for a decade and coached more than few naturals hit numbers they never thought possible. But, it takes years
Then when you “max out”
It takes some life style adjustments and more years
You’ve maxed out a machine in a few years
But you’ve not maxed out YOU

@Joshua_Ariza People are shopping the clearance racks. Kids are wearing Crocs and Uggs to school. The younger generation doesn’t dress up anymore. We couldn’t go out without our shirts and pants ironed and our nicest pair of shoes on. Now kids wear sweat suits to church. Times have changed.

I am a new Catholic but I am deeply concerned about Bishop Barron. Paula White in an unabashed heretic. He remained silent when His Eminence was refused from the Holy Sepulchre but penned a Twitter novel lambasting Carrie PreJean over her theologically-sound views regarding Zionism. Today, the Bishop promotes Ben Shapiro as his friend— Ben, to his credit, has always been honest about his views that Christ was a criminal who is burning in feces in hell. I will remind you he also once told Ben that he could be saved, before backtracking. I ask you sincerely, what is the proper recourse for this within the church?

This isn’t meant to come off as a knock to CE. I’m a Christian - and a basketball player. 90% of the NBA is openly Christian. What I find maddening in all this is Christians online twisting the story into “Ivey got waived because he is a Christian.” That’s just a false statement and you’re pushing drama even further. There are guys that proclaim their faith all over the NBA - it’s a shared faith. There are pre-game Chapel services in EVERY arena where guys come together to worship. There are post-game prayer communities that are visible to fans and cameras. This isn’t an intolerance issue by the NBA. Far from it. The league wants guys to proclaim what they believe. With that; You will be fired in ANY job where you become a workplace nightmare. If you continually disrupt the peace and happiness of your colleagues, you will be held accountable. It’s as simple as that.
