WA just passed a constitutionally illegal income tax and my opposition is meaningless unless I “call out Trump”. Mind you, Trump has nothing to do with the tax. Susie, here’s an idea. How bout we hold ALL politicians accountable? You can hate this tax AND hate Trump. Just sayin

@SZBishop77 @KYRRadio It is the same for laws they review prior to the next election and with less accountability since federal Supreme Court justices are given a hearing and Senate vote. You should call out tyrannical moves here too unless you are just a hypocrite.

@SZBishop77 @KYRRadio Correct. The constitution is the law. The state income tax is illegal in WA as per the constitution. If you don’t want tyranny you should support the income tax only by amending the constitution or not support it at all.

Washington state enacted a major capital gains tax in 2021. It didn't solve their budget woes, because high earners began fleeing the state. Now they're going to enact an income tax on those earning over $1 million a year, and hope that works better.
