4 years ago, I made my first Bitcoin pencil drawing. A lot has happened since then. I’ve created 38 artworks, with more than 4000 prints of these drawings being sent around the world and I published my first own illustrated book. Leaving my minimalist 10 m² 'apartment' finally happened after living my entire twenties in it, meeting a lot of brilliant people at many international events and meetups, and of course, becoming self-employed in an unparalleled community that stands for something whose values couldn't be better. This professional independence was not planned. It just happened. The free market decided: the demand was there, I met it. I don't want to brag with these words, but rather encourage other people with interests, talents, gifts and the right attitude to follow their urge to pursue a career in this amazing Bitcoin universe. I didn't plan anything, it wasn't my intention to start my own business. If someone had told me 4 years ago that I would become self-employed with pencil drawings at some point in my life, I would have laughed with amusement! Within four weeks, I had everything I needed to get started. If I can do it, anyone can!

@Vikingobitcoin9 Let's decide the Bitcoin four year pattern is gone, and that it was bullshit always anyway. Everything is possible now that basically all Bitcoin are mined already. No more patterns, no more halvings, just various bull markets and bear markets... And $1M before 2040. LFG.

In the previous cycle, there was a clear Bitcoin bottom. But due to the FTX black swan event, we went slightly lower, for several weeks; a opportunity. It is certainly possible that we will go lower now, but this is not necessary. Mentally prepare yourself for both 50K and 200K.

Stripe just held their first crypto event and I don't think people realize how big of a deal this is. @patrickc just gave the most bullish crypto talk I've ever heard, straight from the man running the internet's payment layer. Here's what I took away: 1/ Stablecoins aren't speculative anymore, they're settlement rails. Stripe acquired @Stablecoin + @privy_io & is powering stablecoin cards in 100+ countries. @SpaceX, @Meta are all using Bridge for cross-border money movement. Not because it's crypto, but because it's faster and cheaper. ---- 2/ Agents are the next payment endpoint. Stripe launched Machine Payments Protocol (MPP) on @tempo the same day, which lets AI agents authorize, spend, and settle autonomously. OAuth, but for money. But as @lay2000lbs pointed out, when agents do everything, proving you're human becomes the most valuable primitive on the internet. ---- 3/ The best ideas are hiding in plain sight. @zcabrams opened by sharing how he started Bridge in 2022 thinking everyone would build stablecoin infra. Nobody did. Stripe acquired it for $1.1B two years later. The crypto stack still has massive gaps waiting for someone to just go do it. ---- 4/ Crypto is growing up, and it's not accidental. The most common question people get in agentic commerce - "what if Stripe does this?" Well - today Stripe did it with MPP - big congrats to @stripe and @tempo on launch!! A few design observations + thoughts: > MPP is actually built on the same HTTP 402 standard that x402 is built on. At the most basic level, it's request -> 402 challenge -> POST with creds -> verif -> release. HTTP 402 is undoubtedly becoming the backbone of all agentic payments. > MPP has some nice design touches, especially around payment "sessions" which are batched payments that can greatly reduce microtx spam. > MPP to Tempo is like x402 to Base - the preferred settlement chain but not necessarily the only one. Stripe itself will likely support both multi-chain and multi-standard (it has a x402 SDK too), with Tempo MPP being the best-supported. > Which standard gets adopted depends on where the merchants decide to "flip the switch". For any Stripe owned account, you opt-in to machine payments. Key merchants will likely have direct BD by Tempo/Stripe team to onboard on Tempo MPP. > For Tempo hackathon friends - imo the most interesting layers right now to build around MPP and broader aCommerce is likely: (1) wallet orchestration at the client agent layer (multi-standard, multi-address, multi-chain), (2) multi-standard discovery and curation, (3) authorization and identity schemes for agents.
