Susie Wiles just dropped a bombshell internally at the White House that sheds light on how Trump handles information. According to Time Magazine, the White House Chief of Staff called her collaborators together to tell them one simple thing: stop shielding Trump from reality. Wiles was concerned that advisors were giving the president an overly rosy view of the war in Iran, telling him what he wanted to hear rather than what he needed to hear. She urged her colleagues to be "more direct with the boss" about the political and economic risks. That's where we're at. The president's closest advisor—the leader of the world's top superpower—has to remind her team that they need to tell him the truth, that endlessly showing him videos of military successes and assuring him everyone loves his war isn't an optimal information strategy for someone who's supposed to be running the country. Indeed, Trump started each morning by watching video compilations of military successes prepared by officers. Meanwhile, the war has tanked public opinion, gas prices are over $4 a gallon, and the markets are crashing. Two bubbles. Two realities. One man making the decisions. This moment is extraordinary because it confirms, from inside the White House itself, what I've been writing in *The Puppet of the White House* from the very beginning: Trump is a president managed, filtered, and conditioned by his inner circle. They choose what he sees. They select what he hears. They calibrate the information that reaches the Oval Office like they're programming an algorithm. This is the management of a fragile man, and Susie Wiles just admitted it publicly. If he doesn't have all the information, how can he make decisions that make sense? The puppet only sees what he's shown. The puppeteers choose the scenery.

The Iranians have to be governed by the nerdiest regime of all time. You can't swing a dead cat without hitting an Iranian leader who has written a book on Aristotle, Kant, Farabi, etc. Therefore, in order to foster constructive diplomatic relations with the Islamic Republic, the State Department should consider deploying the United States' own emergency Strategic Straussian Reserve of political philosophers. Before engaging Iran on ending the war, re-opening the Strait of Hormuz, signing mutual nonaggression pacts, and examining the future of sanctions, American political philosophers should engage the Iranians on the real issues at stake such as: -Resolving the theological-political question in both Western and Islamic contexts. -Developing a shared textual hermeneutic. -Addressing the connection between instrumental reason, technology, and modernity. We need to speak a language the Iranians understand. We need to transform these negotiations into a graduate seminar. @StateDept @SecRubio

"Fascisten van Islamo-Links"? Wat heb jij voor ongezond dieet? Lettersoep?

When this is over, the western part of NATO will never be the same. Spain, England, France and Italy have sold us out, as they too often have a history of doing. Eastern European nations are the heart of NATO. They spend money on defense, know how to fight and love the US. France particularly deserves fault and blame. From supporting China and Russia at the UN to denying Americans overflight rights, they’re doing what they’ve always done - showing weakness, while cutting deals with terrorists. (The reason the US has a Marine Corps and Navy is unlike France, we refused to pay a ransom to the Barbary Pirates. France is always happy to cut a deal.) Wars have unintended consequences as nations show their true colors. NATO will never be the same, and Western European weakness and acquiescence is the cause.

The issue with this whole comment is that it isn’t “you made your own bed, now lie in it”. The ones suffering are the Iranians living under an occupied Islamic regime, not the US. So while y’all are focused on “getting back” at the US, Iranians are being raped, tortured, and killed. And no, it’s not a war that “nobody” was asking for except Israel. It’s an attack on an oppressor, and the ones asking were the Iranian civilians asking for help. I’m sick and tired of watching y’all twist the narrative and center it around your hate for Trump and Israel. No im not saying Trump is a great person or doing this because of his warm heart. But if you can’t separate your hate for him from something that actually needs to happen for the greater good, then the issue is you, not Trump. Because your “reap what your sow” rhetoric only punishes innocent Iranians, and supports an oppressive extremist regime.

FRANCE JUST SIDED WITH RUSSIA AND CHINA AGAINST THE US AT THE UN France is a NATO ally. A NATO ally just blocked an American resolution at the United Nations. Alongside Russia. Alongside China. The Strait of Hormuz carries 20% of the world's oil. Iran has shut it down for US and Israeli ships. Nobody at the UN will authorize force to reopen it. Not even America's own ally. Hours after France blocked the vote, Iran let a French ship through the strait. France cut a deal with Iran behind America's back. Let that sink in.

Your debt comes from mostly supporting the world? Come on, don't tell me you believe that? The US debt comes from feeling the need to have the most toys. That, together with not knowing how to budget. And the world keeps supporting it by buying bonds. There's some real danger to your economy if Trump keeps on alienating the US. Especially if it has to buy oil with yuan or Euros.

@ContinualDan @FirelineDave @NuevoRoma01 @ElCruzSeb The EU will have to make that hard decision then. US providing protection and at the mercy of the dollar, or will they learn to put on their big boy pants? They are being called and fairly so. Our debt comes from mostly supporting the world. Personally, we stop it all!

🚨 Let me explain what Trump just did with the $1,500,000,000,000 defense budget because the people screaming about it don't understand basic economics.. the US dollar is the world reserve currency.. every trade deal, every foreign investment, every country parking trillions in American assets.. all of it happens for ONE reason.. military dominance.. > countries don't invest in America out of kindness.. they do it because nobody on earth can challenge the US military > weaken the military = weaken the dollar = weaken the economy = weaken YOUR paycheck > this $1,500,000,000,000 isn't "spending".. it's the foundation that makes everything else possible the people calling this wasteful are the same people who benefit from the strongest economy on earth BECAUSE of this budget.. here's what nobody's framing correctly.. every dollar in that budget is the reason your mortgage rate isn't 25% and your grocery store still has food on the shelves.. you're not watching a defense budget.. you're watching the reason 20+ countries just signed trade deals with America..

LOL I really got the Europeans’ panties in a twist. They’re melting down because I said bring the 100,000 troops home and shutter the bases. Same clowns who ghosted us on the Strait of Hormuz now scream “betrayal!” America didn’t start WW1 or WW2. We still crossed the ocean twice, bled for them, rebuilt their ruins. Now they refuse one ship when we ask for help securing their own oil lifeline. Cry harder, Euro cucks. Your free ride is over.

I believe we are on the eve of a different world. Old alliances are already crumbling. The petrodollar is under immense pressure, and with it the US economy. The EU has realized that being dependent on the US doesn't work. The enforcer went corrupt and is not to be trusted anymore. Time will tell what safety and comfort we will lose.

@ContinualDan @FirelineDave @NuevoRoma01 @ElCruzSeb But just because we dont spend as much on NATO doesn't mean NATO is functioning properly. An alliance only works if they work together and clearly most of the EU have become dependent on the US to provide defense so they can waste their funds on their pet social programs.

Yes Jack. You tell quite a story. And that's all it is. Well, maybe more like a fairytale, when you look at the actual history, and not the US make-believe version. Go ahead, leave NATO. Trump has his Board of Peace now, ask them to assist in Iran. Plenty of warmongering dictators in that club.

As a 52-year-old taxpayer, what I know is that every time Europe gets into trouble, we have to bail them out with the blood of our young people or our money. They won't pay us back, they won't fund any of NATO themselves, and I believe we should absolutely go back to the Monroe Doctrine and take care of this hemisphere. Leave EurAsia to them.

The US is not going bankrupt because of their payments towards NATO. The US spends more on its own military than it spends on NATO. You guys are going bankrupt because your government doesn't know the meaning of "budget". And this particular administration uses a lot of government funds to enrich themselves and their friends. That's your money problem. Not NATO.

...and that's why we can't continue as status quo. That's why we won't be extorted by foreign nationals any longer. That is why we are identifying critical leaks in our existing systems and correcting them. Defund NATO, they are not our allies. Free Iran, so we don't have to pay them to "secretly" develop a nuke. Sell US oil to buy down debt. Tank the dollar to destroy the UKs hold on America by buying down debt at a reduced rate. This is a corporate restructuring of the USA.
