Is it just me, or did the FUD meter go up significantly today? I've had accounts I have never seen in my life, many verified, come into my posts, reposts, quote posts, all of them. And all related to Tesla FSD and saying it's never going to work or scale. It will never be done with vision only, it can ONLY be Lidar. They have blood on their hands. We will NEVER eliminate 4 trillion manual miles driven in this country unless it is vision-only in a $25k vessel that can scale. These folks were also part of the Johnson and Nixon administrations and were full steam ahead on Vietnam and Cambodia...

@gotrice2024 They can proceed, but they must slow down. Usually, the bus driver will stop the kids from getting off the bus. When I drove fire trucks, the few times I had to pass a bus loading/unloading, I would stop and make sure the driver saw me and gave me the go ahead to pass.

Do emergency vehicles with their lights on have to stop for school buses too? Who has priority for right of way? I would think they still had to stop right?

This is what I get after trying again and actually getting to wait all the way to 0. It started out with 210 people in line. It is now 9:36 pm. I was in line for 2 hours, and now no agents are available. I had been at position 2 for about 25 minutes. People ask me why I don't have a PS. lol @Sony sucks! #Fail

I am really loathing the @PlayStation store. It won't let me see my transactions, and when I tried to chat with an agent, it booted me because I didn't stare at the screen waiting for a stupid "Are you still there" message, while I was number 208 in line. Now it won't let me use the chat version again, because "Hey there, back so soon?, it seems Chat has not been of help to you, please try again later." Are you f'n kidding me?! I just want to see my transaction history so I can do a refund before it's too late. I've tried on 2 different computers and on the app on my phone. I get the "Something Went Wrong" message.

My hot take - The biggest reason for @Tesla owners not wanting FSD other than cost isn’t fear of self-driving cars themselves. It’s terrible and dangerous experiences with Tesla’s own standard ADAS functions. It’s slightly foggy outside today. I was using cruise control, and the car ran the windshield wipers nonstop. Then when I turned auto wipers off, it slammed the brakes to 45mph on a 70mph interstate and said “autopilot speed limited due to poor visibility”. Tesla, if you want people to trust FSD, you gotta fix the everyday customer’s experience first. Phantom braking shouldn’t be on ANY production vehicle, Tesla or not.

First of all, it's not a payday. He has specific marks he must meet in order to get the entire payout. Just because he makes more than you and me, means absolutely nothing. Second, the rich are taxed, and at a higher rate than everyone else. How some of them "get away" with either not paying taxes or very little taxes, is something that Congress has allowed to happen. You know, since Congress makes the tax laws. They merely take advantage of it, just like the rest of us do. The only difference is, obviously, it deals with a whole lot more money. Third, no reason to force someone to pay more money just because someone else doesn't have as much money. They don't get any more benefits for being taxed. Bad enough they get taxed as much as they do now. Y'all want to cry foul and say it's not fair, but then turn around and make it not fair by forcing them to pay more in taxes.

I know I sure don't. I have a GW SUV, but drive my Tesla more. I also park outside and know how to charge when it's cold.

Despite passing Prop 50, which just stripped power from California's nonpartisan commission, 92% of CA voters say district lines should be drawn by a nonpartisan commission. "The irony is 9 of 10 voters said they'd like to see this done by a nonpartisan commission." Are people really this stupid?

Those of us who follow the news and have been paying attention understand that we were voting to redistrict temporarily in response to Texas having obeyed Donald Trump's demand that Abbott "get 5 seats." Many of us don't like gerrymandering but if Republicans are going to do it, we're not going to sit on our hands and make nice. In CA, at least the voters got to decide. Not so in TX. And the proposal is clear. Prop 50 only temporarily changes the districts. People are actually pretty rational and understand that it's impossible to compete against an opponent that changes the rules of the game. Those opponents seem awfully angry that we're just trying to even the playing field. But in CA's case, the voters chose and it's temporary. This remains an importance difference
